9) It appears superficially the 5^th house, the house of children is afflicted by the presence of Ketu in it. The malefic aspects of Mars (7^th drushti) and Rahu (7^th drushti) on 5^th house are harmful. Both Rahu and Mars are in the constellation of Mercury; the lord of 5^th house (Taurus) is Venus; she had neecha-bhanga; so the 5^th house is well disposed. Venus is in Nava-amsa lagna is beneficial; Jupiter is in 11^th house (labham) in Nava-amsa; Venus gained 7 points and Jupiter gained 8 points in Nava-amsa. She gave birth to 8 children due to Jupiter (puthra-kaarak) and 7 children survived due to Venus (lord of 5^th house).

10) Moon is lord of 7^th house and is full and well-disposed; Kalatha-kaaraka Venus is in Bhagha(9^th house) and has neecha-bhanga is well-disposed; also Mars and Rahu had no malefic influence on 7^th house or on Venus (Kalthra-kaaraka); so she enjoyed a very happy married life and her husband was noble, affectionate and good to her.Also she was a noble and devoted wife and much liked by her husband. Her husband enjoyed good social position and financially very prpsperous and rich; he was patient and amiable. He was scholarly. He was faithful and deeply attached to her. He was not demonstrative or wmotional in his love to her. Saturn is in 8^th house; he is 7^th house from Moon; this ensured stable and ever-lasting affections in her married life.

11) Venus is Vivaha karaka; he is in Virgo; the 7^th house from Virgo is Pisces; Jupiter is the lord of Pisces. So Smt. Varalakshmi got married in 1930 at a tender age of 12 years, during the main period of Jupiter and sub-period of Jupiter. In Nava-amsa chart Jupiter is conjunct with Saturn; Saturn is the lord of 7^th house from Nava-amsa lagna (cancer). Mercury is in the 2^nd house from Venus (kalthra-kaaraka) in rasi chart. So she gained idependent life with her husband during the sub-period of Mercury in the main period of Jupiter.

12) Gemini is the 5^th house from Indu-lagna; Jupiter, the puthra-kaaraka is in Gemini; Mercury is the lord of Gemini and he stays in 5^th house (Libra) from Gemini; So she was blessed with a child during the sub-period of Mercury and the main-period of Jupiter.

Sun is very beneficial to her. Sun’s period give her best benefits and prosperity, Sun made her careful, cautious and methodical. She was gifted with many good qualties; precise in detail, industrious and persistent in her noble efforts. She was practical, yet idealistic. She was sensitive and keen in observation. Venus is the lord of Taurus; it is 4^th house from Indu-lagna; Venus is debilitated in Virgo. But Venus has neech-bhanga.(the malefic effect is removed). Jupiter is Vidya-kaaraka; he aspects (9^th drushti) the 2^nd house; house of speech and intelligence. Due to all these points, she did not have much school education. She was made to stop her school-education after passing 5^th class. But Moon in 2^nd house and aspect of Jupiter on Moon gifted her with capacity of good comprehension, memory-power and ability of good orator; she was well-informed and cultured.

7) Jupiter is in 6^th house (sathru-sthana); she was a self-made person (like Amitab Bachan). She was gifted with powerful psychic sense and an ability to study intuitively the character of persons (especially opponents).

Puthra-kaarka is Sun and he is in Pithru-sathana (9^th house); this is ont generally favourable. But Saturn is the lord of Indu-lagna; Mars is the lord of Scorpio (10^th house from Indu-lagna); also Sun is in Virgo, in his friend’s house; these are beneficial aspects. So her parents were prosperous and were well-settled in life.

In Nava-amsa chart the lagna has Venus and the lord of lagna is Moon and aspects (7^th drushti) the lagna and Venus. This gives full strength to lagna and Venus. Due to these she was very beautiful with fair-complexion and has slender figure. She was gifted with the qualties of Moon and Venus; delicacy of body and softness of nature.

2) The 2^nd house has Moon (lord of 7^th house) in it and Jupiter aspects (9^th drushti) the 2^nd house. This gifted her good discrimination and intelligence and reasoning power.

Today I analyse the horoscope of world-renowned Indian musician Smt. M.S. Subbu-lakshmi (1916—2004). She was honoured with the award of highest BHARATH RATNA. She was honoured in U.N.O. New York for her outstanding music-performance with standing ovation during Oct--1966. She was a noble lady and great philanthropist. She earned millions of rupees and donated all her earnings for charitable purposes. She was a great devotee of God. I adore her as a saint-musician on par with saint-musicians like Tyagaraja, Meerabai, Narayanatheertha, Syama Sastry etc.

He approached an enlightened and well-educated Swamiji to give him Sanyasa deeksha (renunciation of worldly and family wife). Swamiji examined his horoscope and advised strongly to get married. Moon is in lagnam and Jupiter is in 7^th house is strong Gaja-kesari yoga, connecting birth & Kalthra houses. Also Sun, Mercury conjunction is Budha-Adhipatya yoga in kalathra (7^th house).
