Compatibility of horoscopes for marriages

Namaste ! I completed publication of 60 articles on topics of Vedic astrology in this blog during June-July-2008 period. I trust the information given in this blog is very useful and instructive to budding astrologers as well as to persons with keen interest in vedic astrology. My aim is to share my knowledge with all the persons. Great Poet Sri Bharthruhari (of 350 BC) rightly said (Sanskrit sloka) : PRATHIPAADYA MAANA MANISAM, PRAPNOTHI VRUDHIM PARAAM (knowledge goes on multipling hundred-fold by giving it to other people). Groom’s analysis for yogas in his horoscope

Pisces	Aries -9-	Mars Ketu	Saturn Gemini

Birth lagnam, Indu-lagnam and Aarudha-lagnam; all these 3 fall in Leo (Simha) house is good.

1. Ravi and Budha are in same house, gives Budha aaditya yoga. This gives the person, hale and healty life and sturdy body and Budha gives prosperity and success in business and he enjoys royal luxuries.

2. Gaja-kesari yogoyam, Chandra kendre Bruhaspathihi, Kesari yoga sanjatho, satham-aayur, raja-yogam, na samsayaha = Moon and Jupiter are in mutually in 7^th houses and aspect each other. This is Gaja-kesari yogam, this gives the person healthy and happy life, and high level of prosperity. He enjoys long life span and gets high level of education. He gains name and fame.

3. Adhi yogam : If there are benefic planets in 6^th, 7^th, and or 8^th house, from the house of Moon, the person is prosperous, and gains name and fame. Sukra is in 6^th house and Guru and Budha are in 7^th house. So he enjoys royal comforts all his life.

4. Lagna-adhi yogam : If Jupiter or Venus are associated with Mercury in the 6^th ,7th or 8th houses or if they are spread out in these three houses without any malefic association, a very beneficial yoga known as Lagnadhi yoga is formed, the effects of which are as under :- "The person born under the Lagnadhi yoga will become a minister, a commander or a ruler (of a District or Province). He will have one wife only, will be well-behaved, long-lived, virtuous and without foes.

5. Longevity : Saturn (the signficator of aayu, logevity) is in upachaya (11^th house; laabham) in friend‘s house; the lord of 8^th house (aayu-sthana) is Jupiter and is in 7^th house (kendra) forming strong Gaja-kesari yoga.

6. If three benefics stay in Kendra (Sri Narayana-sthana) houses, the person enjoys prosperity and happiness in life. Full moon is in birth lagnam; Mercury and Jupiter are in 7^th house.

7. Parivarthana (Exchange) yoga : Mercury is in Aquarius (lord Saturn); Saturn is in Gemini (lord is Mercury). This is Maha Suha yogam and will be beneficial to him and both their periods give him benefits.

Raja Yogams in the Horoscope of a boy

	Today (July-10-2008) I analyse the natal chart of a boy. It has many raja yogas. So I explain them here. Pisces Saturn Aries -7- TAURUS Vrushabh -9- Moon Ketu RAASI chart of Chy. Vinayaka Goutam Bhadrapada Punnami Purva bhadra -10- Jupiter -4- Sun Mercury Rahu Gul -2- THULA Lagnam Mars Venus Virgo -12-
	1. Maha purusha yogam; Malaveeya Yogam; Venus is in his own house Libra; and is in birth-lagnam (ASC). he is wealthy, loves life, some- times self-indulgent, a poet, and a visionary. He loves his wife a lot. 2, Budha-Aditya yogam is a raja- yogam. Sun is in his own house Leo and Mercury is conjunct. 11th house is labham (posperity). He will be a great intellect, and a millionaire. He will be successful in business / profession (medical). 3. The lord of 7th (Kendram) is Mars the lord of lagnam (Konam)is Venus; they are conjunct in lagnam; this is a raja-yoga. He shall enjoy royal comforts in life. 3. Adhi-yoga : If we take Indu- lagnam, Sun and Mercury, two benefics are together in 7th house causing Budha-Aditya yoga. This enhances the benefits labha house can give him. 4, Srika yoga: Natural benefics are in lagna Sukra & Guru in 4th (Kendra) He enjoys royal comforts, abundance, and success and good luck in efforts. 5. Saraswthi yoga : He has Sukra in 1st and Guru in 4th (kendras) & Moon in kona (5th); he gets highest level of education; a poet, highly learned, an orator and a great intellect. 6.Raja-yoga due to Moon : Full Moon (Punnami) is in 5th house (Sri Mahalakshmi sthanam; konam); He shall be rich and prosperous. 7. Lord of 9th is Mercury and is in 11th (labham); this makes him lucky and a multi-millionaire. 8. The chart has all the 9 planets in 5 houses; pancha-anana-yoga ; so by birth he is a multi-millionaire and rich. 9. Saturn is lord of 4th & 5th houses; & Guru is in 4th hose; so he may get higher education in a western country (U.S.A). 9) Parivarthana (Exchange) yoga: Jupiter is in Makaram; Saturn is in Pisces. There is exchange of houses. So both these planets give mutually beneficial results; so the boy gets high-level education in U.S.A. 10) Mahabhagya yoga: His birth-lagna is Libra (7th, odd) sign. Sun is in Leo (5th , odd) sign. Moon is in Pisces (11th, odd) sign. He is born in day-time; Morning at 8h-38ms. So he will be rich, famous, very fortunate, healthy, wealthy and will have good children. Mars (Kuja) is in lagnam is benefic; but he is the lord of two marka-sthanas (death-causing houses). So he has danger in Mars main period and in Mars sub-period; after May-2092. So he may live for 95 years.
