7. Saturn : Vyaya-sthithe Mande, daya-vihino, nidhano, vyaya-arthaha, mandalaso, neecha-janaanuyathaha; narogo, bhangogathaha; sarva-sokhyaha = He did not earn money for his self; he always faced huge expenditure for noble endeavours and had to seek the financial sources; his life in western countries made him to closely live with westerners; who according to vedic astrology are mlechas, devoid of religious conduct prescribed in Hindu scriptures. He did not enjoy life’s pleasures; he actually denunciated them and chose ascetic life.

Now I describe the effect of Saturn (Sani) in the eleventh bhaava. Lagnath Laabha sthane, Sani-phalam. Samastha grahanam labha-sthithe, yo yoga-prapyathi, thath yogam prapthirastu = This is a blessing offered by elders and astrologers to their beloved youngsters; this means “May you receive the best benefits due to all the planets which they bestow when they all occupy the 11^th house (Laabha-sthanam). Eleventh house denotes friends, society, community, favourites, ambitions, wishes, desires and their fulfilment, gains of wealth, success in undertakings, incoming wealth, profits, prosperity, elder brothers and sisters, recovery from illness, dawn of fortune, ankles.
General Effects:- :- The person gains millions financially by employing many persons in his business. He may have very few friends. He may be fond of enjoyment of all sorts. He may earn through government sources. He enjoys a healthy and prosperous life. He has long life-span. He may gain lot of success and money in politics. He commands great respect as a political leader.

Saint-Astrologer Maharshi Parasara (Great grand-father of Pandavas and Kauravas of Mahabharatha epic; father of Maharshi Veda Vyasa) wrote :SANI ( SATURN): When Sani is in Laabha (eleventh house) BAHU-DHANAVAAN, BHOO-LAABHA, RAJA-POOJYA, VIDYA-VIGHNA, JYESHTA- PITRHU, JYESHTA-BHRATHRU ABHAAVA, VAAHANA-BHAGYAVAN; = When San is in 11^th house, he is very rich and prosperous; he has hectors of land and many houses; he is respected by the ruler (king); he has hurdles in his studies; he shall not have ( they die ) elder brothers or father’s elder brothers; he shall enjoy the ride of luxury vehicles (like luxury cars, airplanes).

Bhrugu Sutras 46-48: If Saturn is in the eleventh house, the native will be very wealthy but there will be obstacles in his way. He will also be owner of landed property and a favourite of Government. If Saturn is in his own sign or in his sign ofexaltation the native will be learned and enjoy Mahabhagya Yoga (causing prosperity of a very high order) and comforts of all kinds of conveyances.

Brihat Jataka: The person concerned will be wealthy.

Phaldeepika / Saravali : The native will be courageous, healthy, wealthy, longlived and will own immovable property.

Chamatkara Chintamani: The native will always be wealthy and courageous.

Jataka Manjusha by Panditha Rayalu : This is the best position for Saturn to be in. Saturn well posited in the eleventh makes one highly determined, healthy, wealthy and wise. He will have royal favours. He is a good sculptor. He has a lot of subordinates, or servants.

RAJA YOGAS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY.

Jaya Yoga Part--92 (Apr—19--2009) Sunday Rule : If the lord of 6^th is debilitated and the lord of 10^th is exalted, Jaya (Victorious) yoga is formed.

Effects : The person leads a happy and prosperous life. He is always victorious over his rivals and enemies; He is successful in all his ventures. He is blessed with long live span. My explanation : Paapa-sthana adhipe neecha-sthana gathe, akhanda-yogadaha = If the lord of a malefic house (dusthana). If its lord is debilitated, the evils like debts, enemies and diseases are removed; the person enjoys happiness, health, wealth and success. The 10^th house is a beneficial house; its lord is exalted, the person is blessed with success in his profession.

In Example 1, the 6^th house is Capricorn. Its lord Saturn is debilitated in Aries. The 10^th house is Taurus. Its lord is Venus; he is exalted in Pisces but is in malefic house 8^th. So she enjoys 50% benefits of Jaya yoga. She also enjoys Neecha-bhanga Raja yoga for Saturn. The lord of Aries in in Aries and is conjunct with Saturn. Example 2 :

Here the 6^th house is Aries, its lord is Mars and is debilitated in Cancer. The 10^th house is Leo; its lord is Sun and is exalted in Aries. So he has distinct Jaya yoga. But the benefits are lost in this case. Sun is exalted in 6^th (sathru; enemy) house. Both birth lagna and Indu-lagna (Moon) are associated with malefic Saturn. The lord of 6^th house Mars is debilitated is beneficial; but Mars is also lord of birth lagna. So this benefit is annulled.

Example 3 : Here the 6^th house is Virgo; its lord Mercury is debilitated in Pisces. The 10^th house is Capricorn; its lord is exalted in Libra. The person is a great religious leader. He influcenced the entire world. He had to deal with rough, violent and uncontrollable elements and persons. The strong Jaya yoga enabled him to overcome all these hurdles and enlist sympathies of millions of people for his noble cause. Other strong yogas in his horoscope also contributed to his success in his adentures.

Sankha Yoga Rule :-- If the lords of the 5th and 6th are in mutual Kendras and the lord of Lagna is powerful, Sankha Yoga occurs.

Results.— The person is fond of pleasures, humanitarian, blessed with good wife, children and lands and houses. He is righteously inclined, doing good deeds. He is learned in sciences, and lives upto a good old age (above 75 years).

Example 1: Mrs. Suma Pande has the lord of 5^th house (Sagittarius) Jupiter in 8^th house (own house; Pisces). The lord of 6^th house (Capricorn) Saturn in 11^th house in Kendra (4^th house). Lagna lord is Sun is in 11^th house (Laabha) and strong. Lagna has benefic Venus in it and is strong. She has all the benefits of this Sankha yoga- She has M.C.A. Degree and passed some advanced tests in Java in U.S.A.; she now works as Computer Programme Development Manager in a reputed I.T. firm in Dallas (Texas; U.S.A). She has Jupiter in his own house (Pisces) in 8^th (Aayu sthana). She lives for more than 81 years happy, wealthy and healthy. She is a millionaire and has houses and lands in U.S.A. and in India.

They are in opposition (mutually 7^th houses; kendras). She enjoys all the benefits of Sanka yoga. Rahu is in 3^rd house from birth lagna. She has Kubera yoga and is a millionaire.

Moon is in 4^th house (Kendra) from birth-lagna; Mercury is in 4^th house (Kendra) from Moon and in 7^th house (Kendra) from birth-lagna. Saturn is in 4^th house (Kendra) from birth-lagna and is powerful. Saturn is in his friend’s house (Venus is lord of Taurus); Saturn aspects (10^th drushti) birth lagna.
