The beneficial aspects of Venus ensured his second marriage. 6) Venus was exalted in Kendra (4th house ) and was in watery sign (Pisces) in Bhava and in Capricorn (watery sign) in Nava-amsa. So this resulted his tour to Europe by sea-route. 7) Venus period was malefic to him. Venus was in the 5th Moon and Rahu in Bhava; Venus was conjunct with Rahu and was in 5th from lagna in Nava amsa In both cases Venus was afflicated by Rahu. It produced malefic and agony-causing results in his life. His second wife died; he reached climax of his mental strain. His health failed; he experienced mental agony.

King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar

King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911)- Raja-yogas Part-8

(Dec--7---2009) I give hereunder a detailed anlysis of the horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911), in 9 parts. He was by birth an ordinary peasant boy. He was adopted by the Queen of Baroda as her son. I explain the important events in his life.

1) It was the strange game of Fate; the Queen (mother) selected this ordinary peasant boy and crowned him as the King during 1875, when he was barely 12 years of age. This occurred during the end of Mercury dasa (sub-period of Saturn). Mercury was the lord of 10th house (Rajya); he was in 3rd house and was conjunct with Sun the lord of 9th house (Bhagya; luck). This was highly beneficial. In the Nava amsa, Mercury was the lord of 10th house and was in 2nd house from lagna (Dhana-sthana) and in 11th house (laabham) from Rasi-lagna (Moon).

2) The boy was adopted as her son by the Queen-mother as soon as the Saturn sub-period started in the main period of Mercury. Saturn ruled over the Parama-mithra star for the boy. Saturn was the lord of 2nd house (Dhana-sthana) in Bhava; he was conjunct with highly benefic Jupiter and was aspected (7th drushti) by exalted Venus.

3) His marriage was performed during the main period of Ketu and sub-period of Venus. Venus was vivaha-kalathra-kaarka (significator of marriage and wife); he was exalted in Pisces (4th house; Sri Naryana sthana) and was very beneficial. Ketu was placed in Taurus and so he gave the beneficial results of Venus (the lord of Taurus) and caused marriage. 4) Sayaji Rao Gaekwar was invested with full power and his coronation was performed during the sub-period of Jupiter in the main period of Ketu. Jupiter was in 10th house (Rajya sthana) in Bhava chart and Ketu was conjunct with Mars and Jupiter aspected (9th drushti) both Mars and Ketu. In Nava amsa chart also Jupiter was in Kendra (4th house, Sri Naryana sthana). Jupiter was in his own house, Sagittatius and was conjunct with Moon forming strong Gaja-Kesari Raja-yoga. Also Ketu was in laabha-sthana (11th house) and was apected (7th drushti) by benefic Venus. These powerful and beneficial aspects resulted in his coronation during sub-period of Jupiter during the main period of Ketu. The period of 1881-85 resulted in his consolidation of power; he expanded his kingdom and implemented beneficial reforms in the administration. King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar

King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911)- Raja-yogas Part--7 Sunday (Dec--6--2009) I give hereunder a detailed anlysis of the horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911), in 9 parts. He was by birth an ordinary peasant boy. He was adopted by the Queen of Baroda as her son. I explain the raja-yogas mainly.

18) He also had ava-yogas (malefic aspects) in his kalathra-bhava (wife). Venus is (kalathra-kaarka) significator of wife was exalted in 4th house (Kendra; Sri Naryana sthana). So ot married to noble amd elite ladies. But Saturn aspects (7th drushti) Venus and (10th drushti) the 7th house (Gemini). Also Indu-lagna (Scorpio) has the aspect (7th drushti) of 2 malefics, namely Mars and Ketu. Nava amsa chart had Venus conjunct wit Rahu and aspected (7th drushti) by Ketu. Here the 7th house from Indu lagna (Sagittatius) has Sun (malefic) in it.

These malefic aspects had combined effect on his wife. There was some relief-aspect also; the 7th house from Nava amsa lagna is empty and was free from malefic effects. Jupiter aspected (7th drushti) the Sun and the 7th house from Indu-lagna. Venus was exalted in Rasi. So his first wife died and he had to marry a second time.

19) Malaveeya yoga (Venus was exalted in 4th house) is aMahapurusha yoga; so he possessed resoluteness and huge wealth and he was adored by the people as incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

20) Pancha-anana yoga : The chart has all the 9 planets in 5 houses; pancha-anana-yoga ; so he wa a multi-millionaire . Saint-astrologer Parasara said : YADI BHAVATHI GRAHA-INDRAAHA, PANCHA RAASAU YUKTHAHA, AUBHA SUBHAYUTHO, VAA, NEECHA, SATHRU GRAHE VAA, ASUBHAM AKHILAM VINASAM, NAASA KEMADRUMAADI SSA; BHAVATHI NRUPATHULYO, YOGAM PANCHA-ANANOYAM = If all the nine planets stay in 5 houses (raasis), all the malefic effects in the horoscope are removed completely; malefic effects like union with malefic planets, stay in malefic houses, stay in inimical houses or ava-yogams like Kemadruma and such bad yogams are completely removed.

21) Subha-Vesi yoga Exalted Venus was in 2nd house from Sun in Bhava chart. This bestowed him financial gains and strengthened the beneficial aspects in his horoscope.

the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar

The horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911)- Raja-yogas Part-6 Dec—5—2009 I give hereunder a detailed anlysis of the horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911), in 9 parts. He was by birth an ordinary peasant boy. He was adopted by the Queen of Baroda as her son. I explain the raja-yogas mainly.

15) Parivarthana raja-yoga : In Rasi Venus is lord of Libra and Jupiter is in it; Venus is in Pisces and its lord is Jupiter. Saturn is lord of Aqaurius and Mercury is in it; Mercury is lord of Virgo and Saturn is in it; these exchages of houses gave him the best benefits.

16) In the Navamsa chart Sun is in the 10th house (Gemini); Moon and Jupiter aspect (7th drushti) Sun and the 10th house; Saturn aspects (3rd drusti) the 10th house and the Sun. The royal planets Sun and Moon were afflicted. These afflictions (ava-yoga) created situations by which the Poitical Department of the British Government in India, then ruling India, hated the Maha Raja and always tried its best to harm him; at the same time the British rulers tried to show him as the darling of the nationalist India.

17) The lord of 5th house (Aries) was Mars. He was afflicated in 6th house (Sathrusthana; enemy house); besides Mars is conjunct with malefic Ketu. Rahu aspects (7th drushti) Mars. Besides Jupiter, the signficator of children, suffered Paapa karthari yoga (hemmed between Saurn and Rahu). All these malefic aspects (ava-yoga) caused damage to the puthra-bhava (children aspect). Also in Nava-amsa, Rahu spoiled the 5th house and also Venus staiying therein, Also Saturn’s aspect (10th drushti) on 5th house and Venus therein caused further damage. So his sons died while he was alive. He suffered acute grief and loss.

The combined benefits of all the above aspects made him very happy, healthy and a multi-millionaire (to be continued tomorrow).---------------------------------------------------- You can get my full particulars from my web-site www.jyothishi.com. King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar

The horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911)- Raja-yogas Part-5 (Dec-4-2009

I give hereunder a detailed anlysis of the horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911), in 9 parts. He was by birth an ordinary peasant boy. He was adopted by the Queen of Baroda as her son. I explain the raja-yogas mainly. 12) Neecha-bhanga-raja-yoga : The Moon had a very powerful neecha-bhanga-raja-yoga. Moon was debilitated (neecha) in Scorpio; the lord of the house (Taurus) where Moon was exalted was Venus. Venus was exalted in Pisces in Kendra (4th house) from birth lagna; this caused a very powerful raja-yoga. In addition, Mars, the lord of Scorpio (where Moon’s debilitation occurred) aspected Moon (7th drushti). These raja-yogas made a very ordinary peasant boy by birth to become the mighty ruler of a huge kingdom of Baroda.

13) Sun is the lord of 9th house (Bhagya; luck and success); Mercury is the lord of 10th house (Rajya; power ro rule). Their conjunction resulted in tow powerful raja-ygas; namely, Budha-Aditya raja yoga and also Dharma-Karma adhipa raja yoga.

These occurred in the house of courage (3rd house). These beneficial aspects gave him the qualties of a ruler and also made him the King of Baroda.

14) Simhasana raja-yoga was present due to lord of birth lagna Jupiter was in 10th house (Rajya). The lord of 2nd house (Capricorn), Saturn, was also in the 10th house (Rajyam); the lord of 10th house Mercury was present in the 2nd house from lagna in Nava-amsa chart. The 10th house (Virgo) and the planets therein Jupiter and Saturn were aspected (7th drushti) by exalted Venus (highly beneficial). These clearly show that the beneficial influence of 1st, 2nd, 4th, 9th, 10th and 11th bhavas are so blended constructively and inter-related that they together contribute to his immense wealth and power the Maharaja enjoyed in his times.

The combined benefits of all the above aspects made him very happy, healthy and a multi-millionaire (to be continued tomorrow).--- You can get my full particulars from my web-site www.jyothishi.com. horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar

The horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911)- Raja-yogas Part-4

I give hereunder a detailed anlysis of the horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911), in 9 parts. He was by birth an ordinary peasant boy. He was adopted by the Queen as her son. I explain the raja-yogas mainly.

9) Mars and Jupiter gave him a magnetic personality; he hada keen sense of his unique positon as an independent ruler. He realized his responsibilities to the people and to his state. He also fully understood the value of the method of administration, and economy of cotemporary time. He proved to be a good ruler.

10) Rahu in 12th house indicated that he had tolerance to all relgions.

11) The Moon was practically eclipsed by Rahu; Moon was also debilitated. These two aspects clearly indicate that he belonged to an ordinary peasants’ family by birth, bfore he was adoped by the Queen of Baroda. The conjunction of Rahu with Moon resulted in a Sarpa-yoga. There was a legend; as soon as the boy was born his people in the house found that a King Cobra entered the room; it spread its powerful hood on the new-born baby-boy as if offering homage and proection to the baby-boy. People who witnessed that scence were awe-struck; they believed the baby-boy to be the avathar (incarnation) of lord Sri Maha Vishnu and the cobra as Adi-sesha (divine serpent who always keeps his hood as umbrella over the head of Sri Maha Vishnu) and also believed the boy was born to rule. This legend reached the Queen; she got the boy and his horoscope examined by expert astrologers of her royal court. Later, on their advice, she adopted the boy as her son.

The horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911)- Raja-yogas Part-3 Dec--1--2009

6) The lord of birth-lagna Jupiter is in 10th house in Bhaava chart; he is in laabha (11th house) in Rasi chart. Jupiter suffers Paapa Karthari yoga (bad yoga); he is hemmed between two malefic planets Rahu and Saturn. In Nava amsa chart the birth lagna (Virgo) has no afflection

Lagna

The lord of Virgo Mercury is aspected (7th drushti) by Mars and Saturn. These combined aspects indicate the person has a comination of Martian, Jupiterian, and Mercurian qualties. So Sri Sayaji was heroic, quiet, self-possessed and perseverant.

7) The Moon is debilitated in Scorpio and is conjuct with Rahu; also aspected by Mars and Ketu (7th drushti) and by Saturn (3rd drushti). Thus Moon is considerably afflicated and is malefic. This malefic aspect is mostly relieved by Moon staying in conjunction with Jupiter (in his own house, Sagittarius) forming a very powerful Gaja-kesari yoga. Gaja-Kesari yoga : Jupiter and Moon are conjunct Gaja-Kesari raja yoga. So he enjoys GAJA—KESARI yogam. Gaja-kesari yogoyam Chandra-kendre Bruhaspathihi; Gaja-kesari yoga sanjatho, subha-yogam, satha aayu praapthihi. This occurs in

Sagittariu . So he gets huge financial benefits from this yoga. He was very rich and prosperous; he had good longevity. This yoga gives strength and leadership qualities to him.

8) Sun is the lord of the 9th house (Leo, bhagya; luck and sucess); he is in 3rd house; in Rasi Jupiter aspects (5th drushti) Sun; in Nava amsa also Jupiter aspects (7th drushti) Sun. The combination of all these aspects like the disposition of birth lagna, Sun and Moon cause him a powerful raja-yoga and gave him success and luck. Horoscope Analysis; King of Baroda; Part-2

The horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911)- Raja-yogas Part--2 I give hereunder a detailed anlysis of the horoscope of the King of Baroda, Maharaja Sayaji Rao III Gaekwar (1863-1911), in 9 parts. He was by birth an ordinary peasant boy. He was adopted by the Queen as her son. I explain the raja-yogas mainly.

4) Vipareeta Raja Yoga : The 8th house is called randhra (hole), a house of disease and planets placed therein are generally considered malefic. Similarly the 12th house is Vyaya (loss and expenditure) and planets placed therein are generally considered malefic. However, this is actually a special Raja Yoga or 'Royal' Yoga called Vipareeta Raja Yoga; this is formed when the ruler of a dusthana (malefic) house, the 6, 8, or 12th house, is placed in a dusthana (malefic) house. The classical astrological texts praise this yoga by describing: Sahsta, Ashta, Vyaya adhipe sahashta, ashta, vyaya sthana gathe Vipareetha-raja yoga muchyathe; akhanda raja-yoga prapthi na samsayaha = "This yoga confers learning, longevity, fame and prosperity. The person will have illustrious friends, be successful in all ventures, a conqueror of foes, and a great celebrity." Moon is the lord of 8th of house and is in 12th house; also Mars is the lord of 12th house and he is in 6th house; so he is blessed with this raja-yoga. 5) Budha-Aditya raja-yogam: Mercury and Sun are conjunct in 3rd house. Ravi, Soumya yuthau thathra sva, utcha sthaana gathe Budha-Aditya yogamutchyathe; vishesha dhana laabhanche, vanijya-vardhanam. Sun and Mercury conjunction is strong Budha-Adithya yoga; this makes him gain financially during periods of Sun and Mercury. He gained millions of rupees of income. Also this yoga occurs in Aquarius (3rd house). This indicates he has strong active brain and keen power of reasoning. The combined benefits of all the above aspects made him very happy, healthy and a multi-billionaire (to be continued tomorrow). -------------------------------------------------- You can get my full particulars from my web-site www.jyothishi.com. Horoscope Analysis of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru; Part--16

HOROSCOPE ANALYSIS OF PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU.

Part—16 (Nov—28—2009) 13) Three planets, namely, Moon, Venus and Jupiter were in their own houses. Also there are beneficial aspects (drushtis) on the 10th house (Aries; Rajya sthana). Jupiter (5th drushti); Mercury and Venus (7th drushti), Mars (8th drushti) and Moon. These factors gave rise to a powerful Raja-yoga. These factors gave exceptional strength and beneficial nature to the horoscope. These blessed him with exceptional noble qualities of head and heart. His sincerity, frankness, single-mindedness, capacity for hard work, and extensive knowledge of the affairs of the world were all the gifts of this Raja-yoga to him. 14) Some intellectuals jocularly called him as a celebrated “jail-bird”; there was truth in this. Birth-lagna has strong Moon (its lord) in it. Two benefics Venus and Mercury aspect (7th drushti) the 10th house (karma-sthana); Venus and Mercury are both subjected to a powerful papa-karthari yota (hemmed between two malefics), Mars in 3rd house and Sun in 5th house. The Sun is in Scoprio, a keetaka (insect) rasi and is in a Kendra (4th house) from malefic Saturn. His intellectual output in prison is prodigious. Mercury is a planet of intellect and is hemmed between Mars and Sun. This enabled him to write huge volumes of books while in jail; they included world famous books like Discovery of India and Glimpses of World History. These are compendiums of history and culture coupled with his brilliant analysis of events in history. They reflect his genius and in-depth knowledge and extensive wisdom. 15) Nehru’s political doctrines are also revealed in his horoscope. Mars is in 3rd house (of intellect). He is not positioned in 7th house or does not aspects it. This made him a dictator cum democrat. Now I conclude the horoscope analysis of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. I now summarise the combinations of great significations (yogas) in this horoscope to students of astrology, who learn the subject of Vedic Astrology, studying my daily blog articles: 1) Outstanding Raja yogas namely, Malavya, Srika, Raja Lakshana, Parijatha, Damini, Sankha are present in the horoscope of Jawaharlal Nehru. 2) The par excellence of birth lagna and its lord Moon in it gave unusual strength to the horoscope. All these potentialities of the horoscope were ruined and their expression was prevented by the strong papa-karthari yoga (hemmed between two malefics Rahu in 12th house and Saturn in 2nd house. 3) Three beneficial planets are positioned in their own houses; Moon in cancer, Venus in Libra and Jupiter in Sagittarius. 4) Aries is the 10th house (karma sthana). It has combined effect of the powerful aspects (drushtis) and influenced the course of his actions all his life. Mercury and Venus (7th drushti); Jupiter (5th drushti) and Mars (lord of Aries) had powerful 8th drushti. 5) The lagna, both birth and Chandra, and lagna lord Moon suffering strong papa-karthari yoga, indicates a feeling of loneliness and depression he felt often. 6) Jupiter is in his own house (Sagittarius) and powerfully aspected (5th drushti) the 10th house (karma-sthana) gifted Nehru a pure heart. So he strongly believed that the means must be pure and end must be justified by the means. He was genuine and pure both in his heart and actions. But not the otherwise way; as the thousands of present and past time political leaders all over the world believe: the end that justifies the means (even if the means are dirty, sinful and harming the billions of the people). 3) Sun : Sun is in 5th house (kona, Sri Lakshmi sthana) in Rasi chart. It is in Scorpio. Scorpio is a malefic sign. It is an insect sign. It suggests the native is sometimes a person of strange contradictions. The presence of a malefic planet , Sun in 5th house (house of children) in the Rasi chart gave him only one daughter and no sons. In the Nava Amsa also the 5th house from Moon was Aries and a malefic planet Mars was in it. He had n sons. Ms.Indira was his only daughter; she had all the noble qualities of head and heart. She was independent and firm in her convictions; she was a lady of iron-will. Later she ruled India (1967—84) as the Prime Minister of India.

Opinions of ancient expert saint-astrologers :-

Now I explain the effect of Sun in 5th house (Sri Maha Lakshmi sthana) = Lagna panchame Surya-phalam. 5th house is a highly beneficial house. It pertains to progeny (children), inclinations, pleasure, artistic talent, recreation, amusement, sports, romance, competitive activities like cards, crosswords, lottery, gambling or betting, love affairs, ambassadors, good or bad morals, mantra-tantra, religious mindedness, high learning and wisdom, intelligence, enormous riches, spiritual practice etc. Sun is adored as a God; but in vedic astrology he is deemed to be a malefic planet.
Effects : Views of renowned astrologers : 1) Saint-Astrologer Maharshi Parasara (Great grand-father of Pandavas and Kauravas of Mahabharatha epic; father of Maharshi Veda Vyasa) wrote : (sloka = Sanskrit verse) :- PUTHRA-BHAAVAE BHASKARAE, BAALYA-DUHKHA, NA-BHAVATHI DHANA-BHOGI, YAUVANAECHA AARTHI-YUKTHAA, JANAYATHI SUTHAM EAKAM, SVA-ARJITHA DHANA-BHOGI, CHAPALA, KATHINA-CHITHAHA, KROORA KARMAHA, KUCHELA = IF SURYA (SUN) STAYS IN 5TH BHAAVAM (HOUSE), THE PERSON SUFFERS MISERY & TOUBLES IN CHILDHOOD; HE ENJOYS MEAGER COMFORTS IN ALL HIS LIFE; HE SUFFERS WANT-OF-MONEY; HE SUFFERS TROUBLES, MISERY & ANTAGONISTIC CONDITIONS IN HIS YOUTH; HE SHALL HAVE ONLY ONE SON; HE ENJOYS HIS HARD-EARNED MONEY ONLY; HE IS FICKLE-MINDED & UNSTABLE; HIS NATURE IS ROAK-HARD & HAS NO COMPASSION / CONSIDERATION; HE INDULGES IN CRUEL ACTIVITES OR TRADE; HE WEARS DIRTY & SOILED CLOTHES; HIS LIFE IS MISERABLE.

2) Bhrigu Sutras- by saint-astrologer Maharishi Bhrigu (3500 BC):-- Suthra (51) :- Nirdhanaha; sthoola-dehi; sapthame varshe pithru-arishtavaan; Suthra (52) :- Medhavee, alpa-puthraha; budhimaan; Suthra (53) :- Bhava-adhipe bala-yuthe, putha-siddhihi; Suthra (54) :- Rahu, Ketu yuthe, sarpa-saapath, puthra-kshayaha; Suthra (55) :- Kuja-yuthe sathru-moolath sutha-nashanam; Suthra (56): Subha-graha (Guru; Sukra) -yuthe, veekshithe, na-doshaha; Suthra (57) :- Surya shar bhadhishu, Surya-bhakthaha; Suthra (58) :- Surya bala-yuthe, puthra samrudhi = If the Sun is in the fifth house, the native will be poor, of bulky body and in his seventh year his father will face death, serious illness or misfortune. The native will be wise and brilliant but will have few children. If the lord of the 5th is well placed and strong there will be no death of sons. If the Sun is associated with Rahu or Ketu, there will be loss of children due to curse of the Serpent God. If the Sun is in conjunction with Mars, there will be loss of children due to enemy but there will be no such loss if the combination of the Sun and Rahu or the Sun and Ketu or the Sun and Mars is aspected by a benefic (Jupiter or Venus). When the Sun is in the fifth house the native will become a devotee of the Sun God. If the Sun is strong the children will be prosperous.
Explanation :- The 5th is 9th to 9th house and is therefore treated as a house of fortune (Bhagya) also. The view of Maharshi Bhrigu seems to be that the Sun as a malefic afflicts the 5th house and therefore the native remains devoid of wealth. While we agree with this view, we also hold the view that the native will have good fortune if the Sun becomes a functional benefic on account of lordship of an auspicious house. The Sun is a functional benefic, (a) For Taurus Ascendant when as lord of the 4th in 5th , (6) Leo Ascendant when as lord of the Ascendant, he will be in the 5th, (c) for Libra Ascendant when he will be lord of 11th in the 5th , (d) for Scorpio Ascendant when as lord of the 10th he will be in the 5th and (e) for Sagittarius Ascendant when as lord of the 9th he will be in the 5th in Aries, his sign of exaltation. In these cases the Sun in 5th will make the native wealthy, learned, respected and very intelligent. There is no doubt that affliction of the Sun by Rahu, Ketu or Mars in the 5th house will cause loss of children unless there is a powerful influence of a benefic on the 5th house. The adverse results may also not occur if the lord of the 5th and Jupiter (significator of children) are well placed and have benefic influence on them. It is said that if the Sun is strong in the fifth, the sons will be prosperous. This will happen only when the Sun is in his own sign Leo or when the Sun is in Aries his sign of exaltation. When the Sun is posited in these signs, the native will not only be well off himself, he will be blessed with healthy and prosperous children who will be a source of happiness to him.
3) Brihath Jataka by Varhamihira (325 AC) :-- The person concerned will be childless and with out wealth.
4) Phala-deepika by Manthreswara :-- The native will be bereft of happiness, wealth and children. He will also be short lived. He will be intelligent and wise and will be fond of wandering in the jungles.
5) Saravali by Maha-Raja Kalyana Varma (10th century A.C; king of Vyaghrapaada kingdom) :-- The native will be unhappy, poor, without children, agriculturist, resident of mountain-regions, wise, without bodily strength and short lived.
6) Chamatkara Chintamani by Narayana Bhatt (5th century AC) :-- The native will lose his eldest son. He will be very intelligent and will influence others by his superior knowledge. He will accumulate wealth. He may die due to some stomach ailment.
7) Jataka Kalanidhi : NIRDHANAHA, SVALPA-PUTHRAHA, DEVATHA-ANUGRAHANA-PUTHRA-PRAAPTHI, HRUDROGI, PITHRA-ARISHTAM, BRUHATHKUKSHI, KARMA-VIGHNHA = When the Sun is in 5th house, the person shall have poverty, less number of sons, children born out of grace of God, heart-disease, harm to father, big-belly, and he / shall cause hurdles in others efforts / works.

My views :- The views expressed in the above renowned astrologers agree tally in essence with those expressed in Bhrigu Sutras. As we have already stated in our detailed comments above, the adverse results such as loss of children etc. with the Sun in the 5th will be experienced with ascendants other than Aries, Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius. Of course adverse results may be expected in the case of all the ascendants when the Sun, the fifth house, lord of the 5th and Jupiter are under malefic influence. The accumulation of wealth as mentioned in Chamatkara Chintamani will happen only when the Sun in the 5th is a functional benefic. This work also says that native will. die from a stomach ailment. The reasoning behind this statement is that the 5th house represents amongst other things the stomach also. The affliction of the 5th house by the Sun will cause stomach ailments. Horoscope Analysis of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru; Part--14

HOROSCOPE ANALYSIS OF PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU.

Part—15 (Nov—27—2009) 7) Moon is birth lagna (Kendra); Venus and Mercury are in Kendra (4th house). Venus is strong in moola-trikona in his own house. These factors caused a glorious Raja-lakshna yoga. This made him a high-order Aristocrat. This yoga also enabled him to rule India for over 17 years (1947—64) as a very good administrator; dedicated and selfless and patriotic. 8) Mars is the lord of 5th house (Scorpio); he is in 3rd house. Jupiter is the lord of 6th house; he is in his own house (Sagittarius). Mars and Jupiter are in mutual kendras. Jupiter is in 4th house (Kendra) from Mars. Mars is in 10th house (Kendra) from Jupiter. This caused a powerful Sankha-yoga. This yoga bestowed him human sympathies, wide culture and internationalism. He always had international out look and aspired world-peace. He used his good offices to halt fighting and bring amiable solutions to problems like Suez Canal issue. Nehru drafted five principles called Pacha-seela for international peace and co-existence. It was approved by the then Chinese Prime Minister, Chou en lie and a treaty of peace was signed with India in 1960. During 1962, Chinese aggression on India gave a death blow to these principles. 9) Venus is in his own house (Libra) in Kendra (4th house) from both birth lagna and Chandra / Rasi lagna. This causes a powerful Malavya yoga. This is one of the Maha-purusha yogas, eulogized by the great expert-astrologer (of 3rd century A.C.) and the famous author of Bruhath Jataka. Malavya Yoga : When Venus is in its exaltation sign, own sign or is in kendra to lagna and Moon, native will be wealthy, handsome, well built body and will be happy with his family. He will have good comforts in life. Bahu kala-kusalo, vimalokthikruth, su-vadana, madananubhavaha, pumaan avani-nayaka-maana, dhana-anvitho, Bhrugu-suthe, Malavya yoga-yuthe (Jataka Marthandam). The person shall be wealthy, loves life, sometimes self-indulgent; he shall have good marriage, and happy married life; she / he possesses strong sense of justice. Nehru was an epitome of all these noble qualities. 10) Srika (wealth) yoga: Rule :-- Lagna-adi Kendra-sthane subha-graha sthithe subha-yogadha; yath Srika yoga muchyathe = This occurs when only natural benefics (like Jupiter, Mercury, Venus or waxing Moon) are situated in the Kendra houses - comfort, good luck, riches and abundance. Sri means wealth; ka means causing. The yoga is stronger if the benefics are more in number. These benefics should not be afflicted in any manner. In Nehru’s horoscope, Three benefics Moon (in lagna), Venus and Mercury (in 4th house) are in kendras. But the papa-karthari yogas for these planets decreased the power of this yoga. 11) PARIJATHA YOGA : Rule :- The lord of the house occupied by the Ascendant lord, and the Ascendant lord or the lord of Navamsa occupied by the lord of the Rasi in which the Ascendant lord is posited, shall join a quadrant, a trine or his own or exaltation places. Results:— The person will be happy in the middle and last parts of life. He receives the homage of Kings and Rulers. He is fond of wars. He possesses elephants and horses, (cars)/ He conforms to the traditions and customs of his family and relgionn. He is generous and famous. In the horoscope of Nehru, the lagna is Cancer. Its lord is Moon and is in birth-lagna in Rasi. Moon is in 7th house (Capricorn) in Nava-amsa chart; so he had strong Parijatha yoga. 12) Damini yoga : Rule :-- If all the seven planets (except Rahu and Ketu) occupy six houses, Damini yoga is formed. Benefits:-- According to great astrologer-writer Sri Varahamihira of 4th century A.C., in his famous astrological text, Brihath Samhitha enunciated the results of this yoga: the Damini yoga makes the person charitable, always helping others and protects cattle. Maharajha Kalayana Varma of 10th century A.C. {king of Vyaghrapada kingdom (in present Madhya Pradesh)}, famous astrologer –writer; author of Saravali; glorifies this yoga. In addition to the above benefits, this yoga gives the man wealth, fame and intellect also. In the horoscope of Nehru all the seven planets (except Rahu and Ketu) occupied six houses. So he has strong Damini yoga in his horoscope. (to be continued tomorrow) You can get my full particulars from my web-site : www.jyothishi.com. Horoscope Analysis of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru; Part--14

HOROSCOPE ANALYSIS OF PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU.

Part—14 (Nov—26—2009)

My own comments on Jawaharlal’s horoscope :- This horoscope is interesting and illustrious. (1) It has typical Raja yoga; they can lift the person to peaks of glory, wealth, prosperity and success. Example : (1) Strong Moon in birth lagna and in his own house. (2) Mars is the lord of 10th house (Rajya; profession) is in upachaya and he aspects powerfully (8th drushti) the 10th house. (3) Venus is in his own house (Libra) in 4th house (Kendra, Narayana sthana) conjunct with beneficial Mercury and can cause millions of wealth, properties, big bungalows and many vehicles and royal comforts and many more. (4) All these benefits were rather ruined by Paapa-karthari yogas (hemmed between malefics); these beneficial planets had failed to deliver the benefits. Examples : Lagna and the raja-yoga kaaraka Moon are hemmed between (papa-karthari yoga) malefics Rahu in 12th house and Saturn in 2nd house. Venus and Mercury and 4th house are hemmed between (papa-karthari yoga) two malefics, namely Mars in 3rd house and Sun in 5th house. 5) Sun had subha-karthari yoga, called Ubhayachari yoga. The 5th house and Sun therein are hemmed between two benefics Venus and Mercury in 4th house and very beneficial Jupiter in 6th house. This caused the increase of popularity (gain of name and fame) for Jawaharlal, as soon as the main period of Sun started. 6) Several factors are responsible for his gain of enormous popularity. (i) Sun had beneficial Ubhayachari yoga. Jupiter is his own house in 6th house, Venus is in moola-trikona sthana (very beneficial disposition) in his own house, Libra and is in beneficial 4th house. Mercury is in 4th house (Sri Narayana sthana) conjunct with beneficial Venus in moola-trikona. Mars is in upachaya and powerfully aspected the 10th house (Rajya), Aries; Mars is lord of Aries. All these five highly beneficial factors contributed for the very high-popularity of Nehru all over India; he was made an Idol all over India.
