Simhasana Yoga :
The word Simha means “lion” while “asana” means sitting posture. Therefore, the Yoga refers to the sitting-posture of the Lion indicating the effects of the Yoga in ruler-ship and administration. Also Simha-asana means the seat of a King (ruler), a throne. There are two conditions and a few variations as how is Yoga formed.
Rule :-- Lord of 10th house is placed in Lagnam. In this case, Lagna becomes stronger, with all its impact such as fame and administration. A person will sit or head the organisation, group or be a prominent figure in society. Lagna is a seat of Shiva and enlightenment, so in a spiritual charts, this Yoga will give huge followings, based on the subtle divisions. For example, in Siddhamsha chart, it will surely give spiritual leadership in cases of spiritually fortified charts, due to the person acquiring sidhi. Example :--1

This chart of Sri Rajeev Gandji has about 18 powerful raja-yogas. The lords of lagna (Sun) and 10th house (Venus) are conjunct in birth lagna; he has powerful Simhasana (royal throne) yoga. So he has a strong Simhasana yoga; since Sani is related to the physical world; he shall be ruler or administrator of a big company or MNC firm. He is now working (during 2009) in U.S.A. as the Director of a multi-billion dollar worth MNC firm with 12 factories all over the world. He supervises all those factories and administers.

Lord of Lagna should be placed in 10th house. This Yoga focuses on 10th house or Karma, so the person can become famous and sit on the throne due to the karma achieved. This is normally blessing of Siddhi Vinayaka and Yoga known as Siddhi Yoga. The lord of lagnam (Vrushabham) is Venus (Sukra); he is placed in 10th house. So he shall be a very great ruler or owner of a big business house / firm during Sukra (Venus) main period .
