Mercury is in 10^th house (Sri Narayana sthana) is benefically aspected by lagna-lord and also dhana-lord Saturn and Jupiter and thus its beneficial nature is enhanced a hundred times.

2) Mercury is excellently beneficial; he is the lord of 5^th house (Sri Maha Lakshmi sthana) and is in 9^th house (Bhagyam) (Sri Maha Lakshmi sthana) from Indu-lagna. Jupiter aspects (5^th drushti) Mercury. Jupiter is lord of 11^th and 2^nd houses from Indu-lagna. These exceptionally beneficial reasons bestow her potential dhana yogas and raja-yogas.

3) She was born in a lower-middle class family; she led ordinary life in girlhood. She was married at an early age of 12 years to a person with lower-middle-class background and high-school education only. She suffered many tough troubles in her teens. Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury in a row bestowed her excellent raja-yogas and dhana yogas. 19) During her Saturn main period, her husband was blessed with name, fame and honour. He rose to the state of a millionaire during 1940—63 period.

20) The end of Saturn Maha-dasa brought her distress and woes. Saturn occupies the constellation of Ketu. Saturn is in 7^th house from Moon; Saturn aspects (3^rd drushti), Mercury, the lord of 5^th house (Gemini) from Indu-lagna. Jupiter is in 2^nd house Maarka=death-causing position) from 5^th house (with Ketu in it) from lagna (Taurus); Mars aspects (8^th drushti) Jupiter; Mars is lord of Aries, which is the 12^th house (vyaya) for the 5^th house (Taurus); during the sub-period of Jupiter during main period of Saturn. her eldest son died; she experienced intense distress and ental agony.

21) Though Saturn was the lord of birth lagna, he was in 8^th house (Randhra) from her birth-lagna. Makare ashtame Mande, na yogadau, bahu kashta bhaak = Saturne in 8^th house is malefic; the person suffers misery and agony in the period of Saturn. So Saturn gave her mental agony, loss of children and bodily-suffering in his main period. Her health was spoiled. As the lord of birth lagna, and dhana-sthana (2^nd house), Saturn gave her and her husband name, fame and financial prosperity.

1,5,9 houses from birth lagnam (ascendant) are called trikonams (tridents); 1,4,7,10 houses from birth lagam are called kendrams (quadrants); if the lords of trikonam and kendram are conjunct in same beneficial house, the person is blessed with Raja-yogam; if these lords exchange their places also in good houses, they give many benefits, the person gets longevity, health, wealth, happiness, name and fame.

9^th house in konams and 10^th house in Kendrams are best houses; if lords of 9^th and 10^th houses are conjunct in same house, or they exchange their positions and there are no malefic effects associated, the person enjoys a powerful Raja-yogam. This is also called Dharma-Karma-adhipa-parivarthana yogam.

Her birth chart has this Dharma-karma-adhipa-parivarthana yoga. Mercury is lord of 9^th house (Bhagya / Dharma sthana); he is in 10^th house (Libra); Venus is the lord of 10^th house (Rajya / Karma sthana), she is in 9^th house (Virgo); there are no maleficeffects on these two houses.

The Brahmin community, in spite of their scriptural knowledge, high intellect and honesty, were economically deprived, as their duty was to give knowledge and perform the relgious rituals without seeking anything in return. So they had to live in poverty and depend entirely on the alms given by others out of generosity. They requested Maharishi Bhrgu to find an amicable solution to end their poverty.

Maharishi Bhrugu worshipped Goddess Bhagavathi Sri Maha Lakshmi. After a long tapasya of twelve years, She appeared before him and granted him his wish. She advised him to create an astrological treatise with the help of which the Brahmin community can predict the past, present and future of people, and this will ward off their poverty. She told him no person shall have astrological predications as a free service; it shall be a great sin. The person must reward the astrologer liberally with dasa-daanas which include gold coins, gorgeous clothes, houses, farms, cows and the like. If a person takes free service from an astrologer-brahmin using cunning tactics, he has to repay thousand times the fee during next birth to the astrologer. This is a Runa (Debt), which is carried through different births in future. Then she granted him daivagna-jnana (proficiency in astrology) as a boon and disappeared.

Maharishi Bhrugu, with help of Bhagavan Sri Ganesha, compiled the famous Bhrugu Samhita. It consists of several lakhs of horoscopes with different planetary combinations, their results and the remedial measures for prosperity and to ward off the evils. 13) Jupiter and Ketu are dvirdvadasa; Ketu is in the constellations of Mars. This resulted in her separation from her husband. Her family was broken up. Her husband passed through a series of misfortunes and his financial condition was upset. She experienced a lot of mental agony and suffered constant nagging of husband’s close relatives in the family, who blamed her as the ominous cause for his misfortunes. She bore all this distress with remarkable restraint and resignation.

14) With the coming of sub-period of Venus during the main period of Jupiter, her misfortunes ended. Her family rejoined and she was blessed with a daughter during this sub-period of Venus. Venus is the lord of 5^th house, house of children and Maha Lakshmi sthana, (Taurus) from birth lagna; Sun is conjunct with Venus and is in Bhagya (9^th house); so she was blessed with a son during the sub-period of Sun in the main period of Jupiter (puthra-kaaraka). Mars and Rahu aspect (7^th drushti) the puthra-bhava (5^th house, Taurus); also both Mars and Rahu are in the constellation of Mercury (the lord of 5^th house, Gemini. from Indu-lagna); so during the sub-periods of Mars and Rahu in the main period of Jupiter, she was blessed with two more sons.

15) Saturn aspects (10^th drushti) Jupiter, Puthra-kaaraka in rasi chart. Saturn aspects (3^rd drushti) Mercury lord of 5^th house from Indu-lagna; Saturn is conjunct wit Jupiter (puthra-kaaraka) in Nava-amsa chart. Due to these reasons, she suffered the loss of an issue; she was blessed with a son during the sub-period of Saturn, during the main period of Saturn. 16) Mercury is lord of Virgo, the 9^th house (Bhagyam) and is in 10^th house (Rajyam). Mercury is Varga-uttama-amsa. He is in Libra in both a rasi and nava-amsa charts. So the benefits due to Mercury are enhanced many-fold. During the sub-period od Mercury in the main period of Saturn, she was blessed witn another daughter; a house-property was acquired. 17) During the sub periods of Ketu and Venus in the main period of Saturn, she was blessed with two more sons.

18) Saturn is the lord of 2^nd house (Aquarius) from birth lagna; Jupiter is lord of 2^nd house (Pisces) from Indu-lagna; both Saturn (7^th drushti) and Jupiter (9^th drushti) aspect the 2^nd house and full Moon is in 2^nd house. This causes a powerful dhana-yoga; so both Jupiter and Saturn dasas bestowed her prosperity and riches worth lakhs of rupees in those days.
