HOROSCOPE ANALYSIS BASED ON PLANETS POSITIONS
1) Venus in lagnam : Bahu kala-kusalo, vimalokthikruth, su-vadana, madana anunbhavaha, pumaan, avaninayakamana, dhananvitho, bhrugu suthe thanu bhavagathe pathi = Since Venus is in birth lagnam, Swamiji was a great expert in two or more different branches of learning, namely, science (Physics and Mathematics) and in religion and philosophy (Krishna Vedanta and puranas); he had good qualities like intelligence, enthusiasm, energy (mental as well as physical), generosity, nobility, independence, confidence, reliance. He as a gifted poet and prolific writer. He had a thejas in face (brilliance); he got liberal financial support and worship from kings and rulers like the Maharajah (king) of Garwal in Himalayas, Maharajah of Vijayanagarm (Andhra) and many rich land-lords in India and abroad. He was short (5’6”) and handsome (in youth) and had attracting personality He was rich by birth and also got liberal financial support for all his noble endeavours from generous and charitable people and institutions in later life of Swamiji.
Now I describe the effects Venus (Sukra) gives if he is in Birth-lagna (ascendant). Bhrugu lagnasthe phalam. The birth lagna (first bhaava) is a very beneficial house. It is both Kendra (Sri Narayana sthana) and kona (Sri Maha Lakshmi sthana). Atha thanva adi bhaava-sthtitha Bhrugu phalamaah, thathra dau lagne Bhrugu phalam = If Venus (Bhrugu) is in different Bhavaas (twelve) the results Sukra gives are described here under. If Sukra (Venus; Bhrugu) is in birth lagna the results are as here-under. (Maharshi Bhrugu).
The birth lagna denotes: health, appearance, nature, body; all these aspects are governed by this 1st house.
General Effects : Venus is birth lagna in his own houses, Taurus or Libra, in his exaltation house, Pisces or in beneficial houses like Capricorn or Aquarius give fortune and best benefits to the native. The native is amiable, with a cheerful temperament and responsive to the emotional side of nature. He appreciates art and has keen interest to master fine arts like music, dance, singing, painting, drama / acting and the like. He craves for pleasure and sexual enjoyment. He has strong passions. He is fond or perfume, flowers and ornaments. The person has immense attraction to opposite-sex. Generally the person enjoys fortune and wealth and luck. He fond of his wife or her husband. The native will have a magnetic and attractive personality. He may have an early marriage. If afflicted Venus in birth lagna can cause discord in married life. Note :- Presence of Maharaja yogas (beneficial) or Ava yogas (malefic) in the horoscope is not enough. The strength and effectiveness of the yoga is to be assessed. Even if a dozen yogas are present, if they are weak or spoiled by other malefic effects, like conjunction with or aspected by malefic planets (like Saturn) or the lords of the house staying in inimical or debilitated house or get combusted or the like, they do not give benefits to the person.
