CHAPTER: TWO. DHANA BHAAVAM.

The second house from lagnam (birth house) is called  DHANA  BHAAVAM: this house and the planets in it give information about the money, riches, talking-power, family, eyes and aspect, ears and hearing, face, education, and death of the person. We examine in detail this 2^nd house and its aspects now.

1)  NETHREASA, LAGNA-NAAYAKEANA-SAHITHA, CHANDRAANVITHO, DUSTHALEA, NETHREAGHNASTHA ANUNAYAKENA SAHITHO VAAMAKSHIHA DUSTHALEA, LAGNAESAE SA DHNAESWARAE SANI-YUTHEA, JAATYANDHA KO DUSTHALEA, RIPPEA BHANUSUTHO AKSHIHAANI GADHITHO VAAMAAKSHIHAA BHOO-SUTHAH.

If the lords of 1^st house, and 2^nd house together with Chandra (Moon) stay in malefic (malefic) houses like 6^th, 8^th ,12^th the person becomes totally blind.  If lords of 1^st and 2^nd houses are not associated with Chandra (Moon) and yet stay together in the malefic (malefic) houses (6^th or 8^th or 12^th) the person’s left-eye becomes blind.  If the lords of 1^st

and 2^nd houses are together with Sani (Saturn) and stay in one of the malefic (malefic) houses or the lords of 1^st and 2^nd houses are together and stay in of the malefic (malefic) houses and have the aspect (dhrusti) of Sani (Saturn) on that house, the person will be totally blind, by birth.  If Sani (Saturn) is in 12^th house he loses right eye and aspect; if Kuja (Mars) is in 12^th house, he loses his left eye and aspect.

2)  CHANDREA, BHASKARA SAMYUTHEA AKSHI-BHAVANEA LAGNEA  ATHAVA SAPTHAMEA SANI, ANGAARKA VEEKSHITHETHU PURUSHOW NETHREANA HINO-BHAVETH, SOUMYA, KROORA NIRAPEAKSHANA ARKA, SASINO PAAPA BUDBUDA AKSHO GURAU; CHANDREAVA THANU, NETHRAGAA, DHAVALA-KRUG BHAANAUTHU RAKTAANTHA- DRUK .

If  Ravi (Sun) and Chandra (Moon) are together in the 2^nd or 7^th house and if they have the aspect (dhrusti) of Sani (Saturn) or Kuja (Mars) on them, the person is totally blind.  If Ravi (Sun) and Chandra (Mooon) stay together in 2^nd or 7^th house, and the aspect of good or malefic (malefic) planets is on that house and the planets therein, the person has water-bubble formation in the eyes andloses aspect.  If Guru (Jupiter) and Chandra (Moon) stay together in 1^st house, his eyes are pale and have weakaspect;  if Guru (Jupiter) and Kuja (Mars) are together in1^st house, his eyes are red-colored & weak aspect.

Aries is 2^nd house and its lord is in 12^th house.  Ketu (very malefic) is in 2^nd house. 2^nd house (for eye-sight) has strong Paapa-karthari yoga; Sun (malefic) is in lagna and Saturn (worst) malefic is in 3^rd house. The native had defective eye-sight till 1928, that is, he could not see clearly during nights and he lost his eye-sight totally in 1928.

The Sun and Moon indicate eyes and eye-sight.

The Sun and Moon indicate the eyes and vision while the 2^nd and 12^th house are associated with the right and left eye respectively. Even Mars is supposed to have governance over the eye and vision.  The Sun is subjected to paapa-karthri yoga in birth lagnam. The Moon is powerfully aspected (8^th drushti) by Mars. the 2^nd house and 12^th house have the malefic (malefic) influence of all the planets centered on them.  Mars and Mercury placed in malefic 12^th house are aspected (10^th drushti) by Saturn.  Rahu and ketu focus their combined malefic influence in the 2^nd house (eyes and vision). Thus all the important points pertaining to eye-sight are severely affected. 

Even in Nava Amsa chart, the 2^nd house has considerable malefic influence.    

These malefic influences suggest that the head was the seat of disease and the person lost his eye-sight due to excessive partial headache.  This affliction of Mars  indicate extreme heat.  Saturn and Mars are in mutual Kendras. Saturn has powerful 10^th drushti on Mars and Mars has powerful 4^th drushti on Saturn.
