RAJA YOGAS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY.

Bhaskara Yoga Part--88 (Apr—15--2009) Rule :-- Mercury is in the 2^nd house from the Sun; the Moon is in the 11^th house from Mercury; and Jupiter is in the 5^th or 9^th house from the Moon cause the Bhaskara Yoga. Benefilts:— The person will be wealthy, valorous, aristocratic, learned in Sastras (sciences), Astrology and Music. He/she possesses a good personality. Explanation:— Three planets play important in this Yoga but their positions relative to the lagna or their houses of benefic or malefic is not taken into consideration. It is stipulated that Mercury should be in the 2^nd house from the Sun and the Moon in the 11^th house from Mercury, i.e., the 12^th house from the Sun. This implies the Moon, Sun and Mercury should occupy three successive houses and Jupiter must be in a thrikona (5^th or 9^th ) from the Moon.

		Libra	Jupiter

Here in this Bhaava chart, Sun is exalted and is Aries; Mercury is in 2^nd house from Sun. Moon is in Pisces 11^th house from Mercury (in Taurus), Jupiter is exalted in Cancer and is in 5^th house from Moon. So he has Bhaskara yoga in his horoscope and ejoys all the benefits of Bhaskara yoga.

In the above chart (2) Sun is in Leo in his own house; Moon is in his own house in cancer in 11^th house from Mercury (exlated) in Virgo. Jupiter is in his own house in Pisces and is in 9^th house (kona) from Moon (Indu lagna). So the person has Bhaskara yoga. In these examples I have not mentioned the other planets and an intelligent astrologer can easily fix the positions of other planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu) in their proper houses and can predict the Raja-yogas. RAJA YOGAMS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY.

Part—38 (Feb—7—2009)

Pancha Maha Purusha Yogas (2) :
Following are the five yogas formed by five planets- Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and Saturn : these make the person Maha-purusha (a great personality). 'Maha' means great and 'purusha' means human being. This is a planetary combination that gives her / him exemplary qualities of that benefic planet.

HAMSA MAHA PURUSHA YOGA When Jupiter (Guru) is in exaltation sign or own sign and is in kendra to lagna or Moon, this Yoga is formed . In this yoga native will have good personality and good moral character. The person shall be religious, and very fortunate. Vividha-sasthra rahasya-vichakshana, sukee, su-jeevana, punya-samanvithaha, savala-vallbha-vandhya, su-charitravaan, bhavathi Deva-guru Hamsa yoga-yuthe (Jataka Marthandam)= The person shall be learned in various arts or sciences, happy, hale and heakthy; he leads a decent and pious life. He does good deeds and earns punyas (virtues). He is praised by all and the rulers (king) og the land. His conduct and character are good. Example :-- 1 Jupiter was in exaltation in cancer, the birth lagna (both Kendra and kona; Sri Narayana sthana; Sri Lakshmi sthana). Bhagavan Sri Ramachandra had all the noble qualties and is ever worshipped as Purushothama. He enjoyed all the benefits of Hamsa yoga. He was highly learned in many arts and sciences and also in warefare. He was Emperor of emperors and sole monarch of the entire Universe as Supreme God and avathaar of Bhagavna Sri Maha Vishnu.

Jataka Marthandam (sloka) : Makare sapthame Sukra sthithe, --- su-yogam., ashesh-dhana-prapthi, bhagya-yogam viseshadaha = Sukra (Venus) in 7^th house gives many benefits. The person is very rich and prosperous. He is lucky and successful in life. ( He has good and prosperous children and good-natured wife. He is a multi-billionaire. He earned name, fame and power. This is Budha-Aditya yoga; he earns billions in business. Ketu is in 9^th house and aayu-kaaraka, Saturn is in 8^th house (aayu), Jupiter is in birth house; so he has long-life-span. The lord of 4^th house (Kendra) is in 5^th house (konam); he enjoys prosperity and riches. Venus is in Bhagyam (9^th ) from Moon; this is dhana-yogam. Moon and Mars are in mutually 7^th houses is Chandra-Mangla yogs ; he earns billions. Jupiter is in Makaram (Neecha); debilitated. The planet Mars which gets exalted in the sign (Makaram) where Jupiter is is debilitated is in a Kendra (7^th house) from the Indu-lagnam (Moon). So he has Neecha-bhanga-raja-yoga. Moon is debilitated in scorpio. Lord of the sign (scorpio) Mars, occupied by debilitated Moon, is in a Kendra house (7^th ) from Indu-lagnam (the house Moon exists). So this is another Neecha-bhanga-raja-yoga. Jupiter in birth lagnam bestows him raja-yoga all his life, especially during Jupiter’s period Example :-- 5 Dr. Surekha has Hamsa yoga in her natal chart. She was born in U.S.A. Jupiter is in Pisces in his own house. He is in 4^th house (Kendra; Sri Narayana sthana) from birth-lagna (Dhansu; its lord is Jupiter). So she is proficient in surgery. She earned a M.S. degee from a reputed Univeristy in U.S.A. and is practising as a Surgeon in a reputed A grade hospital in U.S.A. She enjoys all the benefits of Hamsa yoga.
