DHANA YOGAS (WEALTH) in VEDIC ASTROLOGY

BAHU-DHANA-ARJANA YOGA. Rule : If the lord of birth lagna is in 2nd house (Dhana; wealth sthana) and if the lord of 2nd (Dhana) house is in 11th house (laabha; gains and profit) and if the lord of 11th (profits) is in birth lagna a powefu dhana yoga is formed. Effect :-- The person earns millions of money and riches and amasses huge wealth. My Explanation : In this configuration of planets, there is a relationship between three beneficial houses, birth-lagna (1st), Dhana (2nd; wealth) and Laabha (11th;profit; gains) houses. The lords of these three houses have Parivarthana yoga (exchange their houses). In this case also the real strength (value) of this yoga depends on the strengths of these three lords and how they are positioned in regard to the general scheme of the horoscope charts. Example :1 In this chart the lord of birth lagna (cancer) is Moon and is in 2nd house. The lord of 2nd house (Leo) is Sun and is in Laabha (11th house) conjunct with Mercury forming strong Budha-Aditya yoga. The lord of 11th house (Taurus) is Venus and is in birth lagna. In addition Jupiter is in Bhagya (fortune), 9th house (Pisces; his own house) and apects (5th drushti) lagna and Venus; highly beneficial. This person was a multi-miilionaire.

Example :2 This is the natal chart of Sri Rajeev Gandhi, Prime Minister of India during 1985--1991 period. He was the grandson of Sri Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minster of India (till 1964). He was the eldest son of Smt. Indira Gandhi, the world-renowned lady-politician and very powerful administrator and Prime Minister of India till her death (Oct--1984). He came to power on inheritance.
