HOROSCOPE ANALYSIS OF PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU.

Important Events in the life of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru : (1) Sea Voyage to England : During the period of Ketu and sub-period of Rahu, 1905 Jawaharlal boarded a steamer to go to England for higher studies. In Rasi chart Ketu in 6th house and Rahu in 12th house and Sani in 2nd house; in Nava-amsa Rahu was in lagna and ketu was in 7th house; these dispositions of planets caused his leaving his mother-land to go to foreign country for Mlescha (western / foreign) education there. 2) Return to India :- During the main period of Venus and sub-period of Venus, 1912, Jawahar returned home. He imbibed aggressive spirit of nationalism during his study in England. During 1912, the political conditions in India were quiet and dull. He was bubbling with enthusiasm and spirit of nationalism. So he had no chance to find an expression for his ideals of nationalism in India then. 3) Practice of Law :- He settled down to the practice of Law. Mercury, Sun and Venus were in 4th and 5th houses and well-disposed, and Mars was aspecting the 12th house. This is a powerful combination of plans. This offered him a brilliant future and chances of success in profession and earning millions in the practice of law. But fate ordained otherwise. 4) Marriage : During 1916, in the Venus period and sub-period of Moon, he got married. Venus was Kalathra-kaarka (signifcator of wife and marriage). 5) President :- During the main period of Venus and sub-period of Ketu, Jawaharlal was elected as the President of the Indian National Congress. It was a great honour and greater responsibility for him. Venus was in his own house (Kendra; Sri Narayana sthana), 4th house from both lagna and Moon. This caused a powerful Raja yoga for him. Also it was Malaveeya yoga, a Mahapurusha yoga, which elevated him to the highest position of honour in India. Ketu was yoga-karaka in 6th house. Venus was in 11th house from Ketu; Ketu was in 3rd house from Venus; both are upachaya houses. This is an ideal combination of planets main lord and sub-lord and caused him a Raja-yoga and a great honour. 6) Popularity: Sun’s main period increased his popularity a thousand-fold. Sun was in 5th house (Sri Lakshmi sthana) and was very beneficial. Sun was a political planet and was in Scorpio, a keetaka (insect) rasi; he aspected the 10th house.
