Horoscope analysis of Bhagavan Sri Ramachandra
This is a special article published on the occasion of Sri Rama Navmi festival, celebrated to mark the birth of Bhgavnan Sri Rama. He killed Demon King Ravana and his evil associates Kumbhakarna and Medghanatha. He destroyed evil and protected good and dharma. On these days from Ugadi (Teougu New Year day) to Sri Rama Navami day Sri Ramachandra is worshipped; and his Kalayana (marriage utsav) with Sri Sita Mata is celebrated on Sri Rama Navami day, all over India and aborad in temples of Sri Rama.
Part : 10 (Apr--5—2009) I mentioned already that Bhagvan Sri Rama and Bhagavan Sri Krishna are incarnations of Bhagavan Sri Maha Vishnu. So ordinary principles of Vedic astrology ae not at all competent to explain their horoscopes. But the readers of my blog and students of astrology need to know Raja-yogas and what benefits they can bestow a person. So I give hereunder the Raja yogas present in the birth chart of Bhagavan Sri Rama and illustrate them. But He is above all these rules of this Vedic astrology.
1) Srika yoga :-- Lagna-adi Kendra-sthane subha-graha sthithe subha-yogadha; yath Srika yoga muchyathe = This occurs when only natural benefics (like Jupiter, Mercury, Venus or waxing Moon) are situated in the Kendra houses - comfort, good luck, riches and abundance. Sri means wealth; ka means causing. The yoga is stronger if the benefics are more in number. These benefics should not be afflicted in any manner (combusted, debilitated, enemy house, conjunction with malefics etc.)
The birth lagna has Jupiter (exalted) and waxing Moon (own house). Saturn (exalted in Libra) is in 4th house is a positional benefic. Kuja (exalted in Capricorn) is in 7th house is a positional benefic and the aspect of Jupiter and Moon (7th drushti) and Chandra Mangala yoga enhanced the beneficial nature. Sun is (exalted in Aries) in 10th house and is positional benefic. So Srika yoga, betower of immense wealth is present. 2) Sri Maha Lakshmi yoga :-- There is another Prosperity Yoga called Maha Lakshmi Yoga. Moola kendra thrikoneshu bhagyake paramochhake Laganadhipo baladyecha Lakshmee yoga udeerithah = If the 9th lord is powerfully posited, either in exaltation or own house and is angular (Kendra) or trinal (kona) and if the Ascendant lord is powerful, Maha Lakshmi yoga occurs. The person has appreciable affluence and is always above want, respectable, learned,noble, wealthy, will be handsome in appearance and will possess all the comforts of life.
The lord of 9th house (Pisces) is Jupiter; he is exalted in birth lagna (both Kendra and kona) and Indu-lagna. The lord of birth lagna is Moon and he is waxing and is with exalted Jupiter in his own house. So Sri Rama’s natal chart has this yoga.
3) Ashta Lakshmi yoga :-- This is a powerful yoga for the Eightfold Prosperity ( Ashta Laksmi Yoga ). If the North Node (Rahu) is in the 6th house and if Jupiter is in Kendra house (quadrant) from birth-lagna, then this Ashta Lakshmi Yoga is formed = Shashta sthana gathe Rahu; Lagna Kendra gathe Gurau; Ashtalakshmee samayuktham ; Madhyavan Keerthiman Nara. The Eightfold Prosperity, whose symbols are the Eight Lakshmis, the Ashta Lakmis, the Ashta Vasus are : 1) Dhana Lakshmi - Wealth as prosperity. (2) Dhanya Lakshmi - Agriculture as prosperity; 3) Dhairya Lakshmi - Courage ". (4) Vijaya Laksmi - Victory " 5) Adi Laksmi - Power " (6) Vidya Laksmi Learning " 7) Gaja Lakshmi Will Power " (8) Santhana Lakshmi Children as prosperity
The native born under this yoga, enjoys the Eightfold Prosperity. Rahu and Jupiter should be powerful, however, to confer the full benefits of this yoga.
