Kalpa Vruksha / Kalpadruma yoga
Part – 99 (April – 26 – 2009) Sunday Kalpa Vriksha is the celestial tree which grants all wishes. During the Sagar Manthan in which the Devas and Asuras churned the cosmic ocean . Various things with divine powers came out from the Ocean during churning process. They consisted of various people, animals and treasures. They were halahala (poison), Kamadhenu (the wish fulfilling cow), the Ucchaishrava (the white horse), Airavata (the white elephant), Kaustubhamani (a rare diamond), Kalpavriksha (the wish fulfilling tree), Lakshmi (the goddess of wealth), Sura or Varuni (the goddess of wine), and finally Dhanvantari (the divine physician) with the vessel of Amrita in his skilful hands. This is the epic story of Kalpa Vriksha.
Rule :-- In Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra, 36:33, saint-astrologer, Maharshi Parasara mentioned the famous Kalpadruma yoga. (Sanskrit sloka) : Lagnesathadgatarksesatadgatarksesatadani; Kendra, kone, sva-thunge vaa yogaha Kalpadruma matah ! = If all the 4 grahas (1) The lord of birth lagna (ascendant); (2) The dispositor of lagna-lord. (3) The dispositor of the graham (palent) in the second point above. And (4) the navaamsa dispositor of the graham (planet) in the third point above are all situated in quadrants (Kendras) and trines (konas) from the lagna, or be exalted, only then Kalpadruma yoga is formed. Effects : Any person with this yoga will be endowed with all kinds of treasures and wealth, be a king , pious, strong, fond of war and be very merciful = In Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra, saint-astrologer, Maharshi Parasara mentioned the effects of the famous Kalpadruma yoga. (Sanskrit sloka) : Sarva-aiswarya-yutho, bhoopo, dharma-atma, bala-samyukthaah; yuddha-priyo, dayalusaaha; parajitho naro bhavthe . Example : 1 :- H.H. Swamiji Srila Prabhpada. Srila Prabhupada was the most gifted person in the knowledge of Vedanta and Krishna Conciousness. Srila Prabhupada, in just 12 years in his old age, traveled all around the world giving vedantic lectures. His writings have been translated into many languages and are regarded as a great treasure. His writings consist of Vedic philosophy, religion, literature, culture amongst others. His extensive commentary on the Bhagawad Gita is well known. He was the founder of the world famous ISKCON movement, institutions and Sri Krishna temples all over the world.

Example : 2 Bala Gangadhar Tilak was a mathematician, philosopher and a nationalist. He helped lay the pillars for India's independence. He founded and served as President of the Indian Home Rule League. In 1907, at a All India Congress session, Bal Gangadhar Tilak proclaimed "Swaraj is my birthright and I shall have it". He struggled and sacrificed all his life for his country. He was a great pariot and guide and guruji to Mahatma Gandhi in his freedom struggle for India. He was declared as a traitor by Bitish rulers in India and imprisoned him in Andaman jail. He was harassed by the British tyrants for his great patrioatic spirit and strife for freedom.
