Adhishtanam, thathaa karthaa, karanamcha, prudhag-vidham I Vividhascha prudhak cheshtaa, Daivamcha atha panchakam ll (verse 14) Sareerm, vaak, manobhiryanth, Karma pravhathe Narah I Nayyam vaa vipareetham vaa panchaiva thasya hethavaha ll (verse 15) Thathraivam sathi, karthaaram, aatmaanam kevalamthu yaha l Panschyantha Krutha Budhithva anna na pasyathi durmathihi ll (verse 16)
FIVE CAUSES OF ANY ACTION
Bhagavan Sri Krishna says : “Learn from Me, O Arjuna ! the five causes, as described in the Sankhya (yoga) doctrine, for the accomplishment of all actions. They are: The physical body, the seat of Karma; the modes of material nature, the doer; the eleven organs of perception and action, the instruments; various bio-impulses; and the fifth is the presiding deities of the eleven organs. (18.13-14)
Whatever action, whether right or wrong, one performs by thought, word, and deed; these are its five causes. (18.15) ------------------------
In modern Management terms, we can say, the implementation of any plan or project, has five main components: (1) a plan of action (2) a plan manager; (3) instruments of action (4) the act of implementation. But the final outcome of these is either success or failure; it is dependent on the fifth factor, most important all, which is Daivam (destiny). Astrology is the only super-science available to us which helps man to know the trends of results and the role of destiny well in advance.
