Beneficial features of Exalted Mercury
Part – 2 (Mar—24-2011) Thursday 2) Simhasana Yoga : The word Simha means “lion” while “asana” means sitting posture. Therefore, the Yoga refers to the sitting-posture of the Lion indicating the effects of the Yoga in ruler-ship and administration. Also Simha-asana means the seat of a King (ruler), a throne.
Rule :-- Lord of 10th house is placed in Lagnam. In this case, Lagna becomes stronger, with all its impact such as fame and administration. A person will sit or head the organisation, group or be a prominent figure in society. Lagna is a seat of Shiva and enlightenment, so in a spiritual charts, this Yoga will give huge followings, based on the subtle divisions. For example, in Siddhamsha chart, it will surely give spiritual leadership in cases of spiritually fortified charts, due to the person acquiring sidhi. 10th house was Gemini. Mercury was its lord; he was in birth-lagna exalted; he had a powerful Simhasana yoga. Lagna-esae dasamasthe, subha grahe, subha-yuthe, vaa subha-veekshithe, ashesha dhana-laabham praapthi; ithi na samsayaah = If the lord of birth lagna is a benefic and is with benefics or has aspect (drushti) of benefics; the persons gets huge fiancial gains and enjoys power and top position. This is also Simhasana yoga and bestows the person power to rule. So he occupied very high positions as Vice-President and later as President of India for fifteen years. He was de-juro Emperor of India. 3) Subha yoga : Lakshmi-sthaanam thrikonancha; Vishnu-sthaanancha kendraaha. thayo sambandha mathrena , Raja-yoga adhiakam, bhaveth ! =
1,5,9 houses from birth lagnam (ascendant) are called trikonams (tridents); 1,4,7,10 houses from birth lagam are called kendrams (quadrants); if the lords of trikonam and kendram are conjunct in same beneficial house, the person is blessed with Raja-yogam; if these lords exchange their places also in good houses, they give many benefits, the person gets longevity, health, wealth, happiness, name and fame. (1) Jupiter is the lord of 4th house (Sagittarius) and 7th house (Pisces), two kendras (Sri Narayana sthanas) and is in birth lagna (both Kendra and kona). (2) Saturn is the lord of 5th house (Capricorn), Sri Lakshmi sthana. He is in birth lagna (Kendra). (3) Mercury is in 10th house (Kendra) and is in lagna (kona). He enjoyed all the benefits of this Maha yoga.
