I publish the Horoscope Analysis of Bhagavan Gautama Buddha in a serial order in nine parts starting from Sept—8—2009.

Gautama Buddha was one of the greatest saints produced in India to spread human values and reform the practices like casteism, other superstitious practices in Hinduism prevalent in his period. He called Dharma (right behaviour). Later it got shaped into a separate religion “Buddhism”. He is adored by millions of people all over the Asian Nations as supreme God.

Horoscope analysis – Gautama Buddha

Part – 7 Sept—14--2009

Some notable features of this unique horoscope are given below :

1) Mars (Kuja) is in his own house Aries (Mesha) and aspects birth lagna (Cancer) (4th drushti) and lagna-lord full Moon (7th drushti). In Nava amsa, the lagna lord is in Mesha (Aries) owned by Kuja (Mars). These beneficial dispositions bestowed Prince Siddhartha very attractive physical beauty and magnetic personality; which in later life as preacher of dharma (righteous conduct) attracted thousands of people to follow the path shown by Gautama Buddha. 2) Venus, Jupiter and Mars aspect (7th drushti) the Moon, lagna-lord. Moon is full and strong. So Siddhartha was fair and of golden complexion. He was stately and majestic in his appearance and demeanor. 3) His birth star (constellation) was Visakha and its lord was Mercury. He was aristocratic by birth. Mercury is a planet of humour and was in labha (11th house) and is in Taurus a benefic position and was unafflicted. So he was very comfortable and well-going during his teens and youth in the company of kings, princes, courtiers, soldiers (warriors) and attendants in the palace and the royal court. 4) Sun is the royal planet; it was exalted and was in 10th house (rajya-sthana; ruler), This shaped him into a highly dignified Prince and a gentle person with noble qualities of a true king.
