8) Rahu :- Now I explain the effect of Rahu in 11th house (laabha; gains) = Lagna laabhe Rahu-phalam. Samastha grahanaam labha-sthithe, yo yoga-prapyathi, thath yogam prapthirastu = This is a blessing offered by elders and astrologers to their beloved youngsters; this means “May you receive the best benefits due to all the planets which they bestow when they all occupy the 11th house (Laabha-sthanam). Laabha bhava denotes friends, society, community, favourites, ambitions, wishes, desires and their fulfilment, gains of wealth, success in undertakings, incoming wealth, profits, prosperity, elder brothers and sisters, recovery from illness, dawn of fortune, ankles.
