RAJA YOGAMS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY.

This horoscope is an example for poverty (Daridra-yoga). This chart has Pancha-graha Malika yoga from birth lagna. So there are other ava-yogams. So Panch graham Malika yoga alone is not sufficient to bestow the person prosperity and riches. The horoscope must also have other beneficial yogas (as in case of Rajeev Gandhi)

Rule : If all the malefic planets like Saturn, Mars. New Moon, Sun, Rahu, Ketu, Gulika and Mandhi stay in kendrams (1,4,7,10) or konams (1,5,9), the person suffers misery and poverty.
In this chart Sun is in lagnam (kendram & Konam); Saturn and Rahu are in 4th house (ekndram); Ketu is in 10th house (kendram). So the native suffered misery and poverty.
Konam is Sri Maha Lakshmi-sthanam (1st, 5th and 9th houses are konams; trines) (giver of riches) and is more beneficial than kedram (Sri Narayna-sthanam). So if malefics stay in konam the poverty will be more severe. When 3 konams have malefic planets, if benefics are in kendrams, the person recovers and the periods of benefics give good results.
