RAJA YOGAMS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY.

Rule :-- Aarudha lagnascha, thatha sva-lagnath Kendra, kona-sthithe khecharasya, dasa-apnuyath, uttama-yogam idam vadanthi Garga adi maha-muneendhraha ! = Great saint-astrologers, like Garga Maharshi said that if a benefic stays in lagnam or in kendram or in konam; or stays in aarudha lagnam, or in kendram or in konam, the main period and sub-periods of that benefic give the best beneficial results (first grade, above 75%).. In Gopal’s case, the periods of Venus and Moon give the best benefits to Gopal.
Rule :-- Shashta, ashtama, dvadasa gepi lagnath, aardha-lagnaath prabhruthi trikonascha, Kendra-sthithasche yadi grahasya dasa-apnuyath madhyam-yogamenam = Based on this slokam (verse), if a planet is positioned in 6th , 8th and 12th houses from lagnam (birth house) or is in kendram (1,4,7,10) or konam (1,5,9) from Arudha lagnam, the main period and sub-periods of that planet give the second order (33% to 65%) good results.
Rule :-- Sthithvathu lagnathsrala Kendra, koneasya; aarudha-lagnath Vyaya, Randhrayoscha, shaste-sthithe, yaditha grahasya dasaa labhathe athama-yoga menam = Based on this slokam, if a planet is in kendram (1,4,7,10) or konam (1,5,9) from lagnam and is in 6th, 8th or 12th house from aarudha-lagnam, the periods of that planet give least beneficial results (upto 33% good).
Rule :-- Aarudha lagnascha, thatha sva-lagnath Shasta, ashtama, dvadasa sthithasya dasa na yogam labhathe, grahasyathra sandeha navopi, sathyam. = Based on this slokam, if a planet is in 6th, 8th or 12th houses from lagnam and also aarudha-lagnam, the periods of that planet give malefic results.

Let us examine the Rasi and Aarudha charts of Sri Kesavan (given above).
1) Sukra (Venus) is in Kendranm (7th from Aarudha) and in lagnam in raasi; Guru (Jupiter) is in kendram (4th from lagnam) (Meenam) and is in kendram (10th from aarudham); Chandra (Moon) is in kendram (10th) from lagnam and is in kendram (4th) from aarudham; so the main periods and sub periods of Guru, Sukra and Chandra give best results (above 75% good) to this person.
2) Rahu is in 6th house from lagnam and in 12th house from aarudha; Ravi (Sun) and Ketu are in 12th house from lagnam and in 6th house from aarudham; so the periods of Ravi, Rahu and Ketu give malefic results.
