DHANA YOGAS (WEALTH) in VEDIC ASTROLOGY

SVAYAM-KRUSHI-DHANA-ARJANA YOGA (3). Rule : If the lord of 2nd (Dhana) house is in a Kendra or kona from the lord of birth-lagna 0r the 2nd lord is a benefic (Jupiter, Venus, Mercury or waxing and strong Moon) and is either in exaltation or conjuct with an exalted planet, a strong Dhana (wealth) yoga is formed Example--1 :

In this chart the birth-lagna is Gemini. Its lord is Mercury. He is exalted in Virgo (4th house from lagna; Kendra). The 2nd (Dhana) house is a benefic Moon. Moon is waxing and 80% strong. He is in 7th house (Kendra) from lagna-lord Mercury and is in 10th house (kenra) from lagna. So he had a strong Dhana yoga and was the richest person.
Example—2 :- This is the natal chart of Bhagavan Sri Ramachandra. Cencer is birth-lagna. The 2nd (Dhana) house is Leo. Its lord Sun is in exaltation in Aries and is in Kendra (10th house) from lagna. Sun is in kona (9th house) from 2nd (Leo) house. As an emperor he earned wealth from kings and people as taxes; he spent it for the welfare of people only.
