RAJA YOGAS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY.
Maha-raja (King) Yogas (5) Part--142 (June—10--2009)
Jupiter & Moon conjunct in Sagittatius, Mars in Makara, Venus in Pisces : King/ruler.
Sloka : Haye sendrau Jeeve, mruga-mukha gathe bhoomi-thanaye, sva-thunagathau lagne bhrugu-ja, sasi-jaa vathra nrupathi = If Guru (Jupiter) is conjunct with Chandra (Moon) and is in Dhanasu (Sagittarius; own house of Jupiter) and Kuja (Mars) is in Makara (Capricorn; in exaltation) if Meena (Pisces) is birth-lagna with Sukra (Venus) (exalted) or if Virgo (Kanaya) is birth-lagna with Budha (Mercury) in it (exalted) the person becomes a ruler / king (Maha Raja). Example : 2 In these three examples I have not mentioned the other planets and an intelligent astrologer can easily fix the positions of other planets in their proper houses and can predict the Raja-yogas.

Sloka : Suthasthau Vakrorki; Guru, Sasi, Sukraapi hibuke; Budha Kanya, lagne bhavathihi, nrupo anyopic su-gunavaan ! = If Kuja (Mars) and Sukra (Venus) occupy the 5th house, and Guru (Jupiter), Chandra (Moon) and Sukra (Venus) are conjunct in the 4th house and if birh-lagna rises in Kanya (Virgo) with Budha (Mercury) (exalted) in Virgo, the person not only becomes a king but also possesses noble qualities.
