RAJA YOGAS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY.

Maha-raja (King) yogas (6)

Part--143 (June—11-2009) Pisces lagna with strong waxing Moon, Saturn in Aquarius, Mars in Capricorn amd Sun in Leo : king / ruler.

Sloka : Meene sendau lagne, ghata-mruga, mrugandeshu, sahithair yamai rakairyo abhoothsya, khalu manujaha shaasitha vasudhaam ! Aje saaremoorthau shashi-gruha gathe, chamara Gurau, su-rejye vaa langne, dharanee-pathir- anyoapi su-gunavaan ! = The persom born in that planetary comination becomes a king and rule the earth, Case 1 :-- If Meena (Pisces) is birth-lagna, with Chandra (Moon) in it (lagna; Meena) and if Sani is in Kumbha (Aquarius; own house) and if Kuja (Mars) is exalted in Makra (Capricorn), and Ravi (Sun) is in his own house Simha (Le0).

Case : 2 If the birth lagna is Meena (Pisces) and Kuja (Mars) is in Meena and Guru (Jupiter) is exalted in Karkataka (Cancer).

Case : 3 : If the birth lagna is Karkataka and Jupiter (Guru) is in it in exaltation and if Mars (Kuja) is in Mesha (Aries), own house.

Example :-- 4 Jupiter was in exaltation in cancer, the birth lagna (both Kendra and kona; Sri Narayana sthana; Sri Lakshmi sthana). Bhagavan Sri Ramachandra had all the noble qualties and is ever worshipped as Purushothama. He enjoyed all the benefits of Hamsa yoga. He was highly learned in many arts and sciences and also in warefare. He was Emperor of emperors and sole monarch of the entire Universe as Supreme God and avathaar of Bhagavna Sri Maha Vishnu. Rahu was in 6^th house. This is called Kodanda Rahu yoga. Jupiter exalted in birth lagna (both Kendra and kona) amd Rahu in 6^th house causes most powerful Ashta Lakshmi yoga. Sri Ramachandra has enjoyed all the benefits of this yoga.

Cancer is birth-lagna and waxing Moon is in his own house conjunct with Jupiter (in exaltation). Venus is exalted in Pisces in the 9^th house (Bhagya; fortune and luck) and Sun is in 10^th house (Rajya) exalted in Mesha (Aries). Besides Mars and Saturn are exalted in kendras (Sri Naryana sthanas). So he was the ruler of the entire Universe and big kingdom. In all these examples, peculiar powers appear to characterize the angular positions (kendras=quadrants and konas=trines). These enable the person to become the king. Kings are of various descriptions; they have varied natures, and extent of their kingdom and their resources (income). These factors are detemined by the strenths of the planets causing the royal combinations.
