BELIEVING VEDIC ASTROLOGY. Nov--7--2010 Sunday In my experience / practice as expert astrologer for over 5 decades, I was surprised and pleased to find many Christians (Ms. Komilla Stutton; Mr.Andrew Foss of U.K.; Herr. Roeland de Looff of Holland; Mag Maria Mathis Luise of Austria; Howard Beckman, Christina Collins, Gary Gomes, Vaughn Paul Manley from U.S.A) countries like U.S.A ; U.K.; and AUSTRALIA have high respect to Vedic Astrology and studied that science, and are practising a
s vedic astrologers and got benefited and earn decently. Some of them stayed in India for 3 to 5 years and learnt astrology under master -astrologers in India. There are many Colleges and Universities offering degrees like M.S. and Ph.D. in Vedic Astrology. World-renowned Astrological Societies like BAVA (UK); ACVA (U.S.A); C.V.A (Melbourne; Austrlia) have hundreds of members mostly (95% or more) who are Christians. So I convey my Best Wishes to them all. I admire their wise way of deriving benefits from Vedic Astrology, though they follow Christian relgion and belong to foreign counties and alien cultures. Even ancient Greek and Persian scholars stayed in India for 5 to 10 years and mastered Vedic astrology under the guidance of Sage astrologers in Gurukula system. One Greek scholar who came with Alexander (Greek invader during 350 B.C) learnt astrology for 5 years and wrote a book on Vedi Astrology; he was respected as Yavana-acharya (Professor; Greek Philosopher) and even now we have that book widely red. Even in countries like China, Korea, Japan have many astrologers. Two pilgrim tourists, Phahiyaan and Huan Sang visited India and spent 10 t0 15 years in India visiting holy centers of Budhism. Phahiyaan (625-37 AC) stayed in the royal Court of King Sri Harsha (Devanam Priya) during 625-37 AC. With king's patronage, Phahiyaan got copies of tens of thousands of books on Buddhism, philosophy, Vedic astrology , Vastu architecture and Ayurvedic medicine on palmyraha / bhoorja leaves, prepared by 2,500 scholar-writers and transported them on 500 mules from Kanoj (capitol city) in India to China. Even, now they are securely preserved and stored in an air-conditioned library in China. So the Chinese medicine and astrology, architecture developed in China are entirely based on these sciences described in these Indian books. In India, I find over 95% people (ignorant of Vedic Astrology), mostly Hindus, find it a fashion to scoff at Vedas, Vedic Astrology, Ayurveda Medicine and Yoga exercises. There was huge commotion and revolt from all most all political parties and many Indian people, mostly Hindus, when B.J.P. minister Prof. Murali Manohar Joshi, Ph.D. (in Physics) and Prof. Yash Pal, Ph.D, (U.G.C. Chiarman, then) wanted to introduce Vedic Astrology in Colleges and Universities in India. only as an elective subject (not compulsory subject) during 1999-2001 or so. Even India’s Supreme Court gave a wise judgment allowing introduction of Vedic Astrology as an elective subject in Indian Universities and Colleges. There are dozens of Universities offering Vedic Astrology courses in U.S.A. like Florida Vedic College and American Institute of Vedic Astrology, Los Angels. I then remembered the popular saying “ Fools scoff while wise persons get benefited”. I found dozens of Indian Professors with M,D., and Ph.D. Degrees in Medicine, Science and Engineering from reputed foreign Universities (U.S.A; U.K) mastered astrology. examples: Dr. K.S.Charak, M.D. (Surgery); F.R.C.S. (U.K). Prof.Dr. Tangirala Gopala Krishna Murthy. Ph.D., (Mathematics) (U.K); Prof. Dr. Komaragiri Venkata Ramana Rao, Ph.D.(Electronics, Nuclear Physics and Radio-Pharmacy); F.I.E., F.A.S., F.Inst.P., Prof. K.Gopala Krishna Murthy. Ph.D. (Mathematics), and Prof. Pidaparthi Dakshina Murthy. M.Tech. (Chemical Technology). These enlightened persons earned national reputation as scientists (with many research publications and Ph.D. Degrees awarded under their guidance), and also as expert astrologers with many original publications in Vedic Astrology. So I will be happy if wise people get benefited from Vedic Astrology guidance from real experts. (There are millions of quack-astrology-practioners and Swamijis / Babas everywhere all over the world, swinding the people). Let (millions of) fools scoff at our Indian culture, vedic learning and age-old wisdom and knowledge. Let us ignore them! There is a wise saying “ We find trillions and trillions of stone pebbles everywhere; we very rarely find invaluable gems among them !” Aum Thath Sath ! (Aum!
