RAAJA YOGA KARAU SUKRA, SOMA-PUTHRAA, SUBHAANVITHAU.
49) SANI, JEEVA SAMAAYOGAATH PHALAM MESHA BHUVO YADHAA,
VIDU SAAKSHAA NA HANTHASYAA MAARKATHVEANA LAKSHITHAAHA..
50) BHAUMAADAYO NIHANTHARO BHAVEYUHUH PAAPINO-GRAHAAH,
SUBHA-ASUBHA PHALAM JNEYA MITHATHAMHI YGA-JANMAHA.
RAVI (SUN), KUJA(MARS) AND SANI (SATURN) are malefic planets for Mithuna-lagnam (Gemini). Ravi is the lord of 3rd house; Kuja is the lord of 6th and 11th house; Chandra (Moon) is the lord of 2nd house; So they are harmful. Sukra (Veenus) is the only beneficial (yoga-kaaraka) planet. Budha (Mercury) and Sukra (Veenus) , when associated with other beneficial planets give beneficial results. They can not be beneficial independently, on their own. If any relation exists between Guru and Sani, it is harmful. Chandra (Moon) can not cause death independently. The evil planets like Kuja (Mars) are powerful to cause death. Illustration :

In this chart, Sun is lord of Leo (3rd house) and I in 11th house (labha; gains) and is exalted in Aries. So Sun does not harm. He gives beneficial results. Saturn is in 11th house and is debilitated; he has neecha-bhanga. So he may not harm the person. Mars is lord of Scorpio (6th) and Aries (11th) houses; he is in 7th house (death-causing). So he may harm the person. Moon is lord of 2nd house (dhana) but is in 9th house (Bhagya; luck and fortune). Moon does not harm him but causes a powerful dhana (riches) yoga. Mercury (Budha) is lord of birth lagna (Gemini) and 4th house (Virgo) and is in 11th house forming Budha-Aditya yoga with exalted Sun. So Mercury and his periods are beneficial. Venus is in 10th house and is exalted in Pisces gives him huge financial gains in his business during Venus period.
