Though the planets are classified as beneficial (subha) and malefic (paapa) in the above verses, the results (phalams) they give depend on their association with other planets and their nature, and on their relative positions in various houses and the nature of those houses; this detailed study is important while predicting future events. In this chart Mars (malefic by nature), as lord of 9th house (Scorpio) staying in 11th house (exalted in Capricorn) gave the person many benefits like Ph.D. Degree award, National award for his book etc. But 9th house is house of father; Saturn aspects (7th drushti) the 9th house. Saturn also aspects Sun (10th drushti); pithru-kaaraka (benefactor to father).
