The 12th house is called
Vyaya Sthaanam = House of Expense and Degradation. The 12th house and the planets
therein give information about the person’s
wasteful expenditure, downfall, degradation, sinful activities, criminal
behavior, & hell-going-aspects. It is an evil house; gives bad results.
KROORAE VYAYA-ESAE,
VYAYAGECHA PAAPAE, NEECHA, ARIGEA KROORA-YUTHAE, ASTH VYAYAHA KROORA-GUNO,
MANUSHYO DAARIDRYA MAAPNOTHI JANAIRVIRODHAA = If the lord of 12th house is an
evil planet, or evil planets stay in 12th house, and the lord of 12th
house is in debilitation, or in enemies’ house, or has relation or association
with evil lanets, the person suffers poverty and spends his money and riches
wastefully.

In this chart,
(1) the lord of lagnam as well as 12th house is Sani and is in Aries
debilitated in enemy house (lord Mars). (2) Also Moon, Mars, Venus, Jupiter and
Sani are all debilitated. So the person suffers poverty and spends his money
