The 5th
house from the Janma-lagnam (birth house = ASD) is called PUTHRA
BHAAVAM. This house gives
information about the person’s progeny (children), education (studies),
scholarship, mind, thoughts, skills, efficiency, manthram (thinking, analyzing,
and decision taking power). The house is also called KONAM; and is deemed to be a beneficial
house; Sri LAKSHMI-STHAANAM.
DVARA-ESAE VYAYA, SHAHTA, MRUTHYU KALITHEA, SATHRU-GRAHA-PAARSVAYO; RVAM, DHYAA YOGAMUSANTHI PANCHAMAU VADHAU
NETHRAAADHIPEA VA THATHA; PUTHRESEA RIPU, SATHRU, NEECHA-GRUHAGEA,DHARMEACHA
PAAPA GRAHAAHA ; PUTHRO-NAASTHI; SUTHESWARAEBALAYUTHO PRAVAAKHYA DOSHO BHAVETH.
If the lords of 2nd,
or 5th or 7th house stay in malefic houses, like 6th,
8th and 12th and malefic
planets are on either side of those lords, the person can not have
children. If the lord of the 5th
house stays in an enemy-house or in debilitation house, and if malefic planets
stay in 9th house, he / she has no children. If the lord of 5th house stays
with malefic planets in the same house, his wife suffers frequent abortions.

the lord of 5th house (Aquarius) is Saturn (malefic). He is in 12th house
(malefic). She had no children.
Example :
This woman becomes
a widow soon after marriage if Mars is in the seventh house with absolutely no
beneficial aspect, but having malefic aspects. The Sun in the seventh house in
a similar position makes her to be neglected by her husband.

(lord of 5th house, Cancer) debilitated weak (new moon) and is in 9th
house and is conjunct with maefics Sun and Ketu and has malefic aspect (7th
drushti) of Rahu. So she has no
children. .
