EFFECT OF JUPITER’S TRANSITION INTO CAPRICORN.
On Dec—10—2008, Margasira, Suddha Ekadasi Jupiter (Guru) enters Makara rasi (Capricorn). Makaram is neecha-sthana (house of debilitation for Jupiter. Now I shall give the general effects felt by people born in different Indu-lagnas (Rasis) / solar months. If birth date falls in a particular solar month (ex: Kumbha (Aquarius) month from February-14 to March-14 of any year), the results of that months are to be considered. We in India celebrate Makara Sankranti as Pongal festival in south India.
In case of lunar method of calendar , the birth-star is to be considered.

Aquarius Kumbha month = Feb-14 to Mar-14 Kumbha Rasi = Dhanishta 3 & 4 padas; Sathabhisha- 4 padas; Poorva-bhadra 1, 2, & 3 padas.
During Dec-2007—Dec-2008 period many good things happened until now Jupiter was in his own house Dhansu in your 11th house (Labham); Sani was in 7th house (Leo). You enjoyed a good period, a period of cheers and happiness. Almost whatever you desired and tried might have come you’re your hands. You would might have enough of money income to keep you happily going. Friends and relatives might have shared your happiness and joy.
Kumbhe vyayastha Guru paakecha na-yogam; bahu vyayam. (Jataka Marthandam) = The period Dec-2008 to Dec-2009 may be a tough time for you. Guru moves in to Makaram (12th house; Vyaya sthana). During this period you must be doubly cautious about business relations, partnerships, friends and as well relatives. They might have been good and cooperative with you till now. Somehow, they may turn out to be indifferent or even create you problems. You may find obstacles to your efforts. You can abstain from efforts. Measure your steps and be cautious in everything. Money may be spent in wastefully. This may add to your financial burdens. So be careful in planning expenses.
Unexpected medical expenses may eat away your financial income. Your family or even you may develop some health problems needing medical attention. You may consult a doctor or some doctors. They may prescribe a good lot of investigations to find out the cause of your ailment. After having spent a hefty sum of money, you may be finally told that you have nothing serious about your health and perhaps all these happened because of some seasonal infection
On the contrary, if you do not consult a doctor at proper time or if you do not take up the investigations prescribed by the doctors, then something bad may the cause and this may result in serious ill-health .

Job seekers :-- You may have a tough time. Opportunities may be remote. Even if they come, the person who selected you may not recognise your ability and qualifications. Your chances may be kept in abeyance. It is better to accept what you get. You may not have options.
Artists like film / TV / advertising and dancers and singers :- Sani aspects the birth raasi (Kumbha) and Guru is in the 12th house (Vyayam; expenditure and loss) . Something unfavourable may prevail in your relationships with the contractors. Your performance might be under estimated and paid low remuneration. Payments for the completed performances may be delayed for no reason. Traveling may be inevitable and prove to be futile. You are advised to be patient and waiting for better period.
Overall, this year may be tough going. The short period of two months June and July 2009 may yield you some benefits. You need to adjust to the situation and continue your efforts. Bhagavan Sri Siva is the presiding deity for both Guru and Sani, So during this period recite Namakam and Chamakam daily, with devotion. Also perform Rudra abhisehkam once a month on Masa Sivarathri day (Krishna thrayodasi) (preferable) / or any day suitable to you. Also recite Bruhaspathi kavacham twice daily, Recite Sri sooktham daily with devotion. This Santhi practice may reduce your difficulties, losses and misery and help you a lot.
