On Dec—10—2008, Margasira, Suddha Ekadasi Jupiter (Guru) enters Makara rasi (Capricorn). Makaram is neecha-sthana (house of debilitation for Jupiter. Now I shall give the general effects felt by people born in different Indu-lagnas (Rasis) / solar months. If birth date falls in a particular solar month (ex: Leo (Simha) month from Aug-14 to Sept-14 of any year), the results of that months are to be considered.

Guru (Jupiter) was traversing Dhanasu (Sagittatius) (his own house) during the period Nov-2007 to Dec-9-2008. Dhansu is 5th house (Sri Maha Lakshmi sthana) for Simha rasi / lagna. So you might have had a good period; your health and finances and reputation might have been normally good. You are running 7-1/2 years Sani (Sade sath) . This period of Janma Sani (Saturn in lagna) runs until September 2009. After that Sani moves into your 2nd place (Virgo). This is called Paada Sani. (Elinati Sani). Sani moves from Simham (Leo) to Kanya (Virgo) during Sept-2009. This may end your troubles and misery caused by Sani.
Your past year (Dec-2007 to Dec-9-20080 had not been that much encouraging. If one advantage was coming, another disadvantage was there to offset its benefits. Turnover and profits may be far below normal expectations. Workers / employees may not be co-operative. It may be impossible to complete the assignments or contracts on hand.
It may be very difficult to obtain any new assignments or contracts. Even if anything materialises, it may be not so profitable in the end of it.
Artists:- You may have a period of frustation. Money payments may not come for the performances already given. New performances or assignments may be rare. Many opportunities that may come may slip through your fingers in the last minute. This is a testing period for you. You will have to wait, learn lessons from bitter experiences. In general, this year (Dec-2008 to Dec-2009) is going to be a difficult time for you.
