If  Kuja (Mars) is the lord of 11^th house and if he is together with the lord of 8^th house and has the aspect (dhrusti) of the mother-causing planet, the person has two mothers alive (a mother and a step-mother).   Example :  

(10)  Aries Moon Lagna Ketu   (2)  (8) Rahu Jupiter Sani Mars Venus Sun Mercury

In the above chart, Mars is the lord of Aries (11^th house).  He is conjunct with Sani in 6^th house.  Sani is the lord of Capricorn (8^th house).  Mathru-kaaraka Moon aspects (7^th drushti) Sani and Mars.
