If one of the
lords of the 1st house or 3rd house happens to be very
strong, and has association and or relation with malefic planets the person has
step-brothers or step-sisters; if the
lord of 11th house is positioned in the 11th house from
the house in which the lord of 3rd house stays, and or Chandra
(Moon) and Kuja (Mars) stay in the same house; he has step-brothers or step-sisters.

house, or stays in a kendram or konam, or is with good planets or has the
aspect (dhrusti) of good planets, his brothers prosper very well.
