SURAGURU, SUKRAU YADI KENDRA-NATHAUCHE MAARAKA-STHAANA GATHAU, BHAVETHA ARIGHNATHASTHA SAUMYA, LIDHOOCHA RANDHRAPA, ARKA, INDVA DOSHATHVAMUSANTHIVERYEA.

Guru (Jupiter) and Sukra (Venus) become malefic (harmful) planets if they possess lordship of two kendram (1,4,7,10 houses).  If they stay in Maaraka sthaanams (death-causing houses), namely, 2 and 7^th houses, they cause

death more effectively.  If Budha (Mercury) and Chandra (Moon) possess the lordship of kendrams and stay in 2, and or 7^th houses together, they cause death effectively.  Ravi (Sun) and Chandra (Moon) do not harm even if they have lordship of the 8^th house.

Example :- 

Ketu  (5) Taurus  (7) Saturn RASI  (8) Venus Leo Lagna Sun Mars Mercury Jupiter Moon   (11) Rahu

In this chart Moon is the lord of 8^th house (Cancer) and is in 12^th house.
