ANALYSIS OF 12 BHAVAS BASED ON VARAHAMIHIRA SYSTEM
Varahamihira belonged to 300-350 A.C. He worked as the astrological adviser in the court of Emperor Vikramaditya. His astrological texts in Sanskrit are followed as standard texts even today by thousands of Vedic astrologers. He was contemporary to Mahakavi Kalidasa.
1) Thanu Bhavam : Health, appearance, nature, body; all these aspects are governed by this 1st house, birth lagnam (both Kendra & Kona; Sri Lakshmi & Narayana sthanam).
