3) Brihath Jataka by Varhamihira (325 AC) :- The person concerned will be wickedly disposed and defective in some limb.
4) Phala-deepika by Manthreswara :-- The native will be lazy, humiliated, unhappy and will not be liked by others.
5) Saravali by Maha-Raja Kalyana Varma (10th century A.C; king of Vyaghrapaada kingdom) :-- The native will be mean, envious, lazy, troubled and humiliated and will suffer from eye troubles.
6) Chamatkara Chintamani by Narayana Bhatt (5th century AC) :-- The native will always be troubled by enemies, eye troubles and other afflictions. His money will be spent on good causes. He will be dissatisfied with his uncles and mother. His efforts will prove abortive.
7) Jataka Kalaanidhi :- DHUR-BHOJANAM, GOTHRA-SAMRUDHI, ANGA-VIHINA, KSHUDRAVAAN = When the Moon is in 12th house, the person eats bad-quality food, his family is large, he suffers loss of limbs; and has dirty conduct and character and is harmful to people.
My views :- All the above astrologers have described the evil effects of Moon in the twelfth house in their own way and in essence substantially agree with the views expressed by Bhrigu Sutras. Chamatkar Chintamani has inter alia said that the Moon in the twelfth will make-the native spend money on good cause. This will happen when there is benefic influence on the Moon and the twelfth house like the association or aspect (drushti) of a benefic planet.
