If the planet Sani (Saturn) has the lordship of harmful houses like 2nd, 7th or 11th house (laabha-sthaanam) and is related to maaraka-grahams (planets causing death), then SATURN = SANI possesses most harmful nature, and definitely causes the death of the person. Bhagavan Adi Sankara reached 32 years of age. Saturn main period and sub-period of Saturn started. Then Sankara attained Nirvana / Moksha (salvation) voluntarily. Saturn is the lord of 7th house (Capricorn), a maaraka-sthana (death causing house) from birth-lagna, He occupies the 7th house from Rasi-lagna (Moon).
