Makuta Yoga
Rule : Makuta meams “Crown”. If Jupiter is in the 9thhouse from the lord of 9th house, and a benefic is in the 9th house from Jupiter and Saturn is in the 10th house from birth lagna, this Makuta yoga is formed.
Effects :—A king or head of forest tribes or hunters, He is powerful, evil-minded and a successful sportsman (in sports of fighting like archery). Epic heros like Ekalavya possessed this yoga in their charts. Bandit queen Poolan Devi had such a yoga in her chart (they said; I do not know). My observations :—The horoscopes which belonged to petty chiefs of forests-tribes, and conservators of forests, and leaders of savage tribes and unruly / terrorist gangs show this yoga. In order to control such unruly gangs, their leader must be cruel and powerful; hence the rule that Saturn must be in the 10thhouse (of actions / profession / rajya) was included.
In this chart th lagna is Leo. The 9th house is Aries; its lord is Mars. Mars is in Pisces. Jupiter is in 9th houses from Mars and is in Leo (birth-lagna). Two benefics Venus and Mercury are in 9th house from Jupiter and birth-lagna
Saturn is in Taurus in 10th house from birth-lagna. This person has Makurta yoga.

He worked as a Conservator of forests for two decades and was known to be very harsh to poachers and smullglers of sandal wood logs from these forests in Paapi kondalu area in East Godavari district. He had strong Budha-Aditya yoga in Aries and was a millionaire. Jupiter aspected 9th house (Aries) and planets therein was beneficial to him.
