RAJA YOGAS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY.
Brahma Yoga Part—77 (Mar—17--2009)
Rule :—If Jupiter is in a Kendra (1,4,7, or 10) from the lord of 10th house, and if Venus is in Kendra the lord of the 11th house, and Mercury is in a kendra from the lord of either birth-lagna or the 10th house, Brahma Yoga is caused.
Benefits : —The person will enjoy luxurious and tasty foods. He is respected by Brahmins and learned scholars. He will be highly learned, long-lived and charitable. He always prefers to perform good and pious deeds. Explanation :—The Yoga appears to bestow highly beneficial results to the person. The person has health, wealth, fame and above all noble instinct for serving others. Note that in the formation of this Yoga, all the natural benefics are involved. Even here, the exact strength and benefits of the Yoga depend on a number of other horoscopic factors. If we consider Mesha (Aries) Lagna, this yoga cannot be formed in all its aspects. The lord of the 9th house (Sagittarius) is Jupiter so that Jupiter's stay in a Kendra from the 9th lord is not possible.
Similarly when Cancer is the birth-lagna, two conditions of the yoga would be absent. The lords of the 9th house and the 11th house are respectively Jupiter and Venus.
Again if birth-lagna is Virgo or Sagittarius the yoga cannot be fully formed. In case of Virgo, Mercury becomes lord of the 10th house (Gemini) while in case of Sagittarius, Mercury and Venus become lords of the 10th house (Virgo) and 11th house (Libra) so that the occupation of Venus and Mercury respectively in kendras from the lords of the 11th house and 10th house is not possible. In case of Dhanus (Sagittarius) as birth lagna, in the place of the 10th house lord, the lord of birth-lagna may be considered. Example: 1

In this chart, the birth lagna is Gemini. The lord of 10th house (Pisces), Its lord is Jupiter and is in 4th house from lagna. Jupiter is in Kendra (same house) from Jupiter. The 11th house (Aries) lord is Mars. Mars is in 4th house from lagna, conjunct with Jupiter. Venus is in Sagittarius and is in 4th house (Kendra) from Mars. So this person has Brahma Yoga and enjoys all the benefits of this yoga.

Venus is in birth lagna (both Kendra and kona) in exalation; Jupiter is in 4th house from Venus and birth-lagna. Moon is the lord of Cancer, the 5th house (Sri Lakshmi sthana) and Venus in 4th house (Kendra) to Moon and Jupiter is in 7th house (Kendra) to Moon. This is a strong Brahma yoga. So he is blessed with all the benefits this yoga.
