RAJA YOGAS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY.
Vidyuth yoga. Part—73 (Mar—13--2009)
Rule :-- When the lord of 11th house is in exaltation and Venus stays in a Kendra from the lord of the lagna, Vidyut Yoga is formed.
Effects :-- The person is charitable and pleasure-loving. He works as a treasurer or controller of wealth and may be a great king or an equal to him My observations: Depending upon the strength of the two lords of lagna and labha (11th house) causing the yoga, the person either be a king or equal to him. He may control wealth. He will be a man of generous nature and charitable disposition. In this chart the lagna (Leo) lord is Sun. The 11th house is Gemini; its lord Mercury is exalted in his own house in Virgo. Sun is forming strong Budha-Aditya yoga with Mercury in 2nd house (Dhana). Venus (lord of 10th house) is in 2nd house is conjuct with Sun, the lagna-lord. So this person has Vidyuth (electricity) yoga. He was a multi-millionaire and enjoys royal luxuries in life. He was generous and charitable.

Here Venus, the 11th lord and the lord of lagna are required to be disposed in a particular manner. Venus is the planet of pleasure and comforts. The lord of the 11th house (Laabha) indicates financial gains. Naturally when the Lagna-lord is strong and the lord of house of gains and the lord of comforts and luxuries (Venus) is equally strong one is bound to be prosperous and happy in life.
